SITE ACCEPTANCE TESTS AFTER INSTALLATION
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

General Requirements

1. The Contractor shall bear full responsibility that the equipment has been installed in accordance
with all codes, standards and applicable governmental regulations.

2. After erection, the equipment shall be tested at Site (Pre-Commissioning Test) to ensure the proper
operation and the readiness for service. All tests shall be performed according to specifications of
the equipment manufacturer.

3. After completion of the Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Tests) the original signed Test Report
Results shall be compiled and submitted to the Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised
Representative.

4. Prior to the Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Tests), the Contractor shall provide Type Test and
Routine Test Certificates confirming that during the factory tests of the equipment according to the
applied test specification the criteria for the behaviour of the test object have been fulfilled and all
tests have been passed successfully.

5. All instruments, meters, etc. used for the Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Test) have to be listed and
presented to the Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised Representative.

6. Calibration Certificates of the instruments, meters, etc. used for the Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning
Tests) have to be presented to the Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised Representative.

7. All tests shall be performed to verify that the equipment comply with approved drawings,
specifications and manufacturers instructions.

8. All Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Tests) shall be performed in the presence of the Contracting
Officer and/or his Authorised Representative.

9. All Site Test (Pre-Commissioning Tests) certificates, protocols, records have to be signed by the
Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised Representative, otherwise the site tests are not valid.

10. The duly signed Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Tests) certificates, protocols, records shall be
attached for payments as mentioned in the Contract Documents.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

11. The Manufacturer shall provide instructions and acceptance criteria for the field testing for review
and concurrence by the Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised Representative prior to energising
(Commissioning) of the equipment.

12. Any equipment with noted non-conformance’s and deviations from codes, standards, drawings and
specifications during site inspection and testing shall be documented in a Non-Conformance Report
(NCR) to be submitted to the Contracting Officer and/or his Authorised Representative.

13. All equipment covered by Non-Conformance Report (NCR) shall be provided with immediate
corrective action by the Contractor and subject to applicable re-test requirement.

14. The position of the installed equipment of each bay shall confirm to the equipment shown on the
finally approved single-line diagram.

The Site Tests (Pre-Commissioning Tests) and verifications shall be performed in accordance with the
relevant reference standards and shall comprise at least:
