Tourism is vital for many countries, due to the income generated by the consumption of
goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry, and

3. HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE COMPONENT

Hardware Interface-

Processor (Dual core and above) - A multi-core processor is a single computing component with two
or more independent actual processing units which are the units that read and execute program
instructions. The instruction are ordinary CPU instructions such as add, move data and branch, but
the multiple cores can run multiple instructions at the same time, increasing overall speed for
programs amenable to parallel computing.

RAM (512MB and above) - Random access memory is a form of computer data storage. A random-
access memory device allows data items to be read and written in approximately the same amount of
time regardless of the order in which data items accessed.

Hard Disk (320GB and above)- A hard disk drive(HDD),hard disk, hard drive or fixed is a data
storage device used for storing and retrieving digital information using one or more rigid(“hard”)
rapidly rotating disks (platters) coated with magnetic material. Data is accessed in a random access
manner, meaning that individual blocks of data can be stored or retrieved in any order rather than
sequentially.

Software Interface-

Language : Java, My SqL

Apache Tomcat v7.0- Apache TomcatTM is an open source software implementation of the Java
Servlet and Java Server Pages technologies. The Java Servlet and Java Server Pages specification are
developed under the Java Community Process.

JDK 1.8 – The Java Development Kit(JDK) is an implementation of either one the Java SE, Java EE
or Java ME platforms released by Oracle Corporation in the form of a binary product aim at Java
developers on Solaris Linux,Mac OS X or Windows. The JDK includes JVM and a few other
resources to finish the recipe to a Java Application. Since the introduction of the Java platform, it has
been by far the most widely used Software Development Kit(SDK).
