TITLE:

Vehicle Plate Recognition Security

CONCEPT:

Vehicle plate recognition security will use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to store
the images captured by the cameras as well as the text from the license plate, with some
configurable to store a photograph of the driver. Systems commonly use infrared lighting to
allow the camera to take the picture at any time of day or night. The OCR will automatically
scan the plate number and once it is recognize, it will allow the vehicle to enter the site. In
order to recognize the vehicle by the OCR, the owner must register his plate to the database.
This project is beneficial to the security system and will lessen the time in logging in/out of the
employees.

PROBLEM / CURRENT SENARIO:

In the country, the common problem is about the security system in an establishment
regarding the vehicles that enter the site.

CURRENT SOLUTION:

Most establishments, like schools, uses sticker car pass to recognize that they are
allowed to enter the site.
