To The Learner

Our eyes are very important. We cannot observe and see things
around us without our eyes, so we must take good care of our eyes. In
this lesson, we will be doing some activities that will help you know
how to take good care of your eyes.

Something To Learn

Demonstrate ways of keeping the eyes healthy.

Let’s Try This With Fun

Write C if the statement is good for the eyes and N if it is not.

N 1. Use dirty water in getting foreign objects in your eyes.

2. Do not read in a moving vehicle.

3. Use an unclean handkerchief in cleaning your eyes.

Below are the proper ways of taking care of your eyes.

Read in a well lighted place.


Poor lighting or too bright light may harm your
eyesight.

Do not read inside the moving vehicle. This


can tire your eyes easily and make you dizzy
as well.

Do not rub your eyes when hands are dirty. Use a


clean cloth and water to clean the eyes.

Be careful when handling sharp and pointed


objects. They may accidentally hurt your eyes.
