Introduction:
Alexa tower Mall , Is a mall made by “ Majid Al Futtaim
Company “ which is responsible for Carrefour
construction. Alexa Tower consists of 10 floors , the 1st 4
floors are trading floors , 2 floors for car parking and 6
managerial floors.

• I-Beam structure
• Flat Slap structure
• Aluminum cladding

• Space Maintainer
• Wooden wrenches

Curtain Wall
Glass curtain walls consist
of two basic components:
the glass and the frame.
How these two elements
are manipulated,
including the proportion,
properties, and
anchorage of each, constitutes the essential
distinction among individual curtain wall systems.
It’s constructed by
using mullions and
transoms that are
placed into the
slabs and
reinforced and held
by brackets placed
through the slabs.

I-Beam Structure

This shape is used when the load is parallel with the


flange. As you can see, theshape is not so good with
lateral forces unless you turn it sideways. When
theload will come from two directions, a square tube
is used.

Flat Slap Structure
Flat Slabs are used by engineers in many
building due to its advantages over other
reinforced concrete floor system in
different cases. The most important
advantages of flat slabs are:

1- Flexibility in room layout.


• Partition walls can be placed
anywhere.
• Offers a variety of room layout to the owner.
• False ceilings can be omitted.
2- Reinforcement placement is easier. As reinforcement
detailing of flat slab is simple, it is easier to place.
3- Ease of Framework installation.
4- Building height can be reduced.
• As no beam is used, floor height can be reduced and
consequently the building height will be reduced.
• Approximately 10% of the vertical member could be
saved
• Foundation load will also reduce.
5- Less construction time.
6- Prefabricated welded mesh.
• Standard sizes
• Less installation time
• Better quality control.
7- Auto sprinkler is easier.

Aluminum Cladding
Aluminum cladding is one of the most used
types of cladding for building exteriors.
Aluminum is often chosen as the optimal
material for building cladding for
economical, functional and aesthetical
reasons. The cladding
comes in wide range White Aluminum Cladding
of different cladding
panels that virtually
enable every building shape and form.
White Aluminum Cladding IS THE MAIN
ALUMINUM TYPE WICH USED IN BUILDING

Granite Finishing
Granit Cladding or finishing gives
aesthetical shape
To the building and often used in
economical
Building it can come in different
colors and shapes
But in this building it’s black in colors Galaxy Granite

mixed
with
Stones particles and illumination.

Space Maintainer
Space Maintainer is used to
maintain the space
between the reinforced
bars and the slabs and also
to form the cover of the
ceiling after pouring the concrete which carry the weight.

shuttering formwork
These are used in columns
construction, wood panels are
placed near to each other’s and
installed together firmly thus when
pouring concrete, the wooden
panels don’t break down due to
the strength of the concrete
pump.

• Knowing how curtain walls are installed and produced.
• Seen a lot of finishing materials.
• Knowing how cladding are installed.
• Construction of flat slap method
