The Experience During Field Work Practices

Vocational High School one ciamis is a vocational school where Field Work Practices
are always held especially for eleventh grade students whose aim is to increase
provision for the future in order to enter the workforce that is increasing in numbers
and fiercer in competition. However, students are first given a briefing by the school
supervisors to have the basic sciences that will be applied in the business world or in
the industrial world. The time for the implementation of the Field Work Practices for
four months from 22 April 2019 to 22 August 2019. In accordance with the curriculum
that is in effect in order to meet the requirements of Education in the Vocational High
School one Ciamis.
My name is Devi Sri Ariyanti, I do field work practice at BKPSDM Ciamis. And from
Vocational Hight School one Ciamis sent 5 students including 3 students from the
Accounting department, 1 student from the office administration department and 1
student from the Multi Media department. And all students are placed in different
rooms.
Every morning, all staff and fieldwork participants are required to attend the morning
apples led by the head of the agency or their representative. Every Wednesday the
employees and students in the field work practice always carry out recitation at the Al-
Muhajirin Mosque. Whereas on Friday usually cleaning around BKPSDM. Then in the
afternoon even before going home usually carried out afternoon apples..
For work carried out during my fieldwork practice at BKPSDM Ciamis, I was kept in
three room, firstly I was placed in the secretarial room, where the work was carried
out, namely delivering official letters to be signed to the head of the agency or
secretary, taking notes on incoming documents and proposing incoming letters. Next
I was placed in the education and training room where the work undertaken was to
legalize letters, fold outgoing letters, envelop outgoing letters and taking notes
outgoing letters in expedition books. Finally I was placed in the general field where the
work done was to receive incoming mail, give outgoing mailing numbers and input
incoming mail to the computer.
During my field work practice at BKPSDM Ciamis I felt happy and I also gained
extensive knowledge and experience, especially in the world of work. Also that I didn't
know before. I feel very comfortable practicing here because the supervisor at
BKPSDM ciamis always guides me, making it easier for me to complete the tasks
given.
