In the vaults of the Assocation for Research and Enlightenment at Virginia Beach, Virginia, there les the answer (from the point of view of this compiler) fo almost any question our present age could ask. ‘The information was given through the subconscious mind of Bagar Cayce, who in deep sleep was able to read the history of| individuals, cities, nations, the world and the universe. I is an almost impossible task to give all the information on the ‘Creation that these records hold, but this compiler has labored to put together in this sequence of three books, the complicated history of man in a form and manner that can be followed, Let us gather together the threads of the evolution of man as sven inthe two preceding books ofthis serie. Using the simply stated but highly symbolic account in the Bible and. the explanations from the Edgar Cayce readings, Book I, BEFORE THE BEGINNING, reveals an unfamiliar period in our origin, bringing out the spiritual nature of man’s ‘creation as 2 soul. It focuses new light upon our search for answers to the questions as to our tre selves and our destiny ‘where we came from and how (other than biologically); why ive are hee, where we are going and how we shall get there; how to understand and prepare ourselves for our ultimate ‘goal, and, above all, how to find God. It shows, to0, how the ‘Eft ‘of free will has determined, by his use of it, man’s ‘career on earth Book Il, THE RIVER OF TIME, finds man, the Son of God, having chosen to test the material world and its forces, and traces his evolution as he expotiences the effects of materiality. Man is shown in Atlantis (the Garden of Eden); in Egypt, whither many of the Atlanteans fled to escape the inundation {the Biblical “Flood”). The roles of Moses, Joshua, Jacob and his twelve sons, Joseph and his two sons, are interpreted. ‘The present Book Ill, YOU ARE FOREVER, shows time ‘and space as only man’s attempt to measure and record his experiences as he overcomes and teleases himself from the forces of earth, Man's true destiny as the offspring of God,‘made for His companionship, {s portrayed in this trilogy. Here is brought out the true meaning of the Immaculate Conception and its place in the history of man asa soul and ‘Son of God. We are given an immaculate conception of the * ideal held by One who traveled the highways and byways of the earth until they Were paved with His footsteps. (Our elder brother, Jesus, now the Christof the work, held this immaculate concept two hundred thousand years ago in Atlantis, 1 was born of the Spirit of God within Him, but it was two hundred thousand years ago aborning in the flesh as the virgin birth ofthe man Jesus. ‘The body, brought forth in painful purification of the flesh through the ideal held and the constant application of purpose by those companion souls, Adam and Eve, a5 they chatted the pathway for our feet In the twilight of the long day the rama of man was played out on the stage of the world, ‘The Edgar Cayce readings amply portray this drama of cretion, After all, what is there but ereation? It not only was, (08 Whar is meant by the Book of Life? Hence, af man in tht material world passes cough there are the manifestations of the atibter thatthe conxioumen atribates to or finds coinciding with hat sctity whch i manifested; hence Becomes thea tthe very principle of the lw tht would govem an entrance into fhether manifestation ‘ence, as man in thi material word pases through, dere ae the nation world — finds vif ae the cou and the product of that be, with the abies ven, hasbeen able to produce, of demonstrate, oF Init, from what he his guned, does gun, in the transition, the ‘hangs, the going toward tat from which he ee. ‘S783 [Not oaly one element but every clement in universal force fas it Affect upon the various phenomens of fe Inthe ation ofan individual ‘tity inte reltionsip tothe whole Hence we find his prerogative that on factor of the iner force or spark of the ens nsociaton, the entity’ relative force from the Fst or from the univer ease of Creative nergy, has its activity throughout. This rather deep, but well ‘worth stdyng well worth understanding that he apliztion of sme may be made a respecting any phenomens of fe. 900-359 This is to say that, regardless of the seeming complexity of existence in this plane, the original impulse which gave the soul its being will manifest and dominate throughout any experience if given the opportunity of expression, Hence, in man’s analysis and understanding of himself itis 3well to know whence he came as well as whither he is going, ‘The turnpike into the earth was much easier to find than the ‘pathway out. Once the soul was i flesh it became amenable to, the influences already entrenched in the material. Flesh was the result of Creative Energy having been misdirected and mis- used by those who had become entangled before the entry of ‘Amis, the Son of God, Flesh is mans creation ‘The true meaning of the immaculate conception has been lost by man in his headlong rush along the highway of experi- cence, trying to find a shortcut back to his Father's house. There fan be no shortcut; he must cut a pathway through life's jungle of misapplied effort. Only when heartbreak and pain ‘bring him to the brink of desolation will he seek the tue way ~ within himself. Until he and not the lower self answers, he cannot form an immaculate concept leading to the virgin birth, ‘within him, of the Divine image. ‘To understand this, we must comprehend the manner in which the body of Lilith was brought forth from the body that ‘Amis had assembled for hie own early experience: first, the mage for the body was conceived in spirit; second, it was motivated by love flowing through him from the throne of heaven; third, sprit acted through mind using the subjective soul force, the negative quality, or that which receives and gives fe to multiply and fil in that imaged in the mind ofits Creator. ‘The body was thus brought into being by the postive and negative sou forces of one Son of God, without the expression (of the sexual act which was being experienced by those who hhad become entangled in its influence. We should also understand that this division of the soul forees relates only to the earthly body. When not in the ‘material body the soul stil retains both the male positive and female negative soul forces, but in the earth body the soul ust accept either one or the other. Because of the decision made atthe time, often i€ i the deste of the soul wilfully to ‘xpress both male and female forces, resulting in the dual ex- ualty and perversion of the Creative Forces. This brings us back to the sume old story of man trying to set aside Divine 4 | | J Law or pattern and create through selfishness an adverse pattern, setting up a negative Karma which must be met. ‘The obvious question that arises in the mind is, what did the bodies of Adam and Eve have to do with the virgin bith, the crucifixion, and the resurrection, thousands of years Intef? Remembering that Adam was the first-born in flesh, that he was bom perfect and without sin, and that his purpose was to form a way out for those entangled in imperfect flesh which was not of God's creation; it was a decision that Adam hhad to make for himself as to the method he must use ~ and he chose the fesh, It is a question whether he would have chosen this entering the flesh had not Eve, the helpmest, chosen it for hin. After the fall into flesh (Eve first, then Adam), sexual knowledge became a part of the soul experience. Adam and [Eve had to face the fact that death was now their master and until it could be overcome it would stalk man throughout his experience in the earth, (1. plain the Immaculate Conception. ‘Al. Having stabilized the soul forces to the material vibrations, the subjective, or as we call it, the negative soul force was pushed into the image held in the mind of its ‘creator, using the ectoplasm of his own body as the structural ‘material, This would be similar to the manner in which a medium today makes the ectoplasm of his or her body available to a discarate entity to use and become visible to those steking to see ich an expression or materialization, ‘As to tele forms ln the psa seme, these were mich rather af he ature of thoupht forms, of able to push out of themseles in that fiction in which its development took shape In thought. 3643 ‘They took advantage of the rhythms of the seasons ~ as wetue the spring for planting, to set the hens, to propagate or increase the yield — but to a much greater extent than we have knowledge of in the present, Many of the bodies then were huge, some as tall as twelve feet; as time went on it was determined that the present size of the body of man was the more practical ‘There were plants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the Sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, And they bare children to them: the same Became mighty men Which were of old, men of renown, Genesis 6:4 pen (1 How the een of Lath connected wth he period of Amis? This method became the manner by which the Sons of God projected thought forms which companion souls ‘entered, Spritor the God within them breathed the breath upon | them and they became fivng souls inthe eat tas the plan of Amilus to keep the soul forces under control boy himelf, directing the subjective quality of his own soul to fill the image of an “helpmeet” or companion. He did not take into thought the influences that were already fampant in those ‘who were experiencing and constantly building a force of flesh, and that the subjective created companion would be subject to other forces besides himself It was God's command that he should not partake of this man-made creation, flesh, that was developing in nature; it was not a part of God and could ‘only be sustained for a period; it would eventually expend its fenergy and death would follow. Outside of God or the original (Creator nothing can exist except for as long as man ean sustain it If this lin of creation were consistently followed, the soul could not sustain itself without contact with its Source, that ‘which created it in the eginning. As the “Prodigal Son” it ‘would have spent its inheritance in riotous living, This was ‘the very thing Amulus had come to prevent among those who were already far on the way to becoming beastly men, or able to associate only with the beast. (Luke 15:11-32) ‘The fleshly body of Lilith which Amilus had brought forth ‘was not the same a8 the Neshly body of the animal, but had the Same potential if the soul forces ben it in that direction. This was the Cross in its beginning; with it would come eventual death. ‘This becomes the “sins of the world”, that Jesus as man over- came on Calvary. The frst Son of God banished the influence fof death from the soul; the fist to reclaim the subjective soul 10 force with the help of the soul that became the “helpmes each acting with half of the whole soul force or as one soul in the earth. In the virgin birth the positive and subjective in both Jesus and Mary were so balanced that they could draw fon the whole soul forces of each. They were in command again, and death departed forever from them, In the carly stages of man’s experience the Sons of God were able to maintain their earth experiences indefinitely, but as they partook more and more of the earth influences the senses became more the master of the soul. Emotions developed by the senses brought strong and adverse spiritual reactions, so that eventually the soul was forced to leave the body it had created, which now had become governed by the appetites. ‘Genesis 6:3 speaks ofthis deterioration in spirit in this way: “My spirit will not always strive with man . yet his days shall be fone hundred and twenty years.” ‘Asman continued to aunt the spiritual laws, becoming more deeply involved in the materia, the body became more dense, hardened and set; the spiritual forces became less and less active, and the life span was shortened to three score and ten (Palms 90:10) Why has the life span of humans decreased so greatly since ‘Old Testament times? The pathway of the ‘wo sons of Eve can be followed by this same symbology ‘through the whole Bible. ‘The Cain and Abel incident points out that which had n become the way of life for the people. Because of the deteri= ‘rating forces of spiit their activity had to come to an end, If they partook of the Tree of Knowledge they would surely die. Death must now be met in the material body. ‘To gain and maintain a mental grasp of the creative and evolutionary processes, one must be able to change and recon- Struct one’s thinking from time to time. That which we cll {ime can be very confusing because of its instability. Time is able to stretch or rebound with the action of mind, so we ‘must mest the record of time by keeping the mind flexible, Peter gives this word to the wise: "But Beloved, be not ‘ignorant of this one thing, that one day & with the Lord as ‘thousand years anda thousand years iss one day. "(II Peter 3:8) Infollowing the pathvay of Amilius and Lilith, then as Adam and Eve through the earth, until they become Mary and Jesus, ‘the time factor can become very elusive if we insist on pinning it down to fact. When using the symbolism as given inthe Bible and the Edgar Cayce readings we are confronted by this com Ponent. Symbolism reviews the pageantry of man as he seeks his purpose and ideal on the varying highways of his experi fences, When viewed from the point of the soul, time ceases to exist, ‘The experiences given are used as symbols which, while ‘ue, were also representational. Not only did they encompass the activity of the individual named or referred to, but showed that being experienced by all mankind under the influence being expressed at that period of man's development. AAs an example, the Garden of Eden was Atlantis with ite reat culture perfectly situated for man's speedy evolution, ‘Adam and Eve symbolize the Sons of God and their activi Cain and Abel symbolize the division in the activity of the Sons of God, Cain becoming the emblem of the Son of Perdition, Jacob and Esty represent the same rupture at a much ter stage, We find ourselves startled that after thousands of years in the earth, man is still being tripped up by the mis Airetion of his purposes. 13Esau remained man of appetites, and sold his birthright to satisfy his hunger for the material. Jacob was a tent- <éweller, which suggests that he was a keeper of flocks and moved from place to place — a keeper of sheep as was Abel, while , Esa caried the mark of Cain. Josh. 3:13) ‘The Bible record of destruction by “The Flood” points out that Noah and his family had found favor with God, Noah's family symbolize those who, because they had not forgotten the purpose for which they had entered the earth, were made aware of the inundation to come, and so had moved to places of safety. The Ark, built to float upon the waters, symbolizes the spiritual guidance that led them through the troubled waters of ignorance. |A knowledge of the uncleanness which Noah's family had witnessed umong the Sons of Men before the disaster is symbolized in the record az the one unclean beast that gained entrance into the Ark, symbolizing the Sons of Men in other parts of the earth who, though unclean, also escaped disaster, With the contineed disneptd of those that were keeping the pe race and the pare race and pure peoples, of thre that wore to rag al these le to the Sons of God, man brought in the deatrictine for the peoples that were to be the rl, thet combined with those natural resources of the pms, ofthe electra forces, made In nature and astral form the fit ofthe euptions that awoke fom the depths of the slow ‘cooling earth, and. tht portion now near ‘wnt would be tered the Sarasa Sen first went lato the depts. Little study ie made in the presen of thie phase of man experience 28135 When Amilius created the body of Lilith, the whole structural plan for our body was designed in complete detail to provide for the virgin birth of Eve, and it was so complete that it made it possible for the immaculate conception of His own birth by a virgin channel, After the fll ofthe spiritual man, the resurrection Of the earthly man had to be ereated by the will of man to return to his Father's house. He had built a material cross bymisusing his spiritual nature for his own creations. Here also fas the way planned in the garden of man’s body to resurrect his divine body whenever he was able to overcome that cross of his will with that of the Father. That which is called the* ‘Tree of Life, in the Garden, when nourished, cultivated and pruned of its dead branches, would yield spiritual fruit to bring heath and strength fo the Sons of God. What i this tree and how does it grow? Its that part of the soul that i of God the spirit within each one of us. How it fourishes is determined by what we do about its cultivation, ‘The ductless glands of the body, called the endocrine system, is this tree in the material garden of man. Its roots are buried inthe fertile soil of the glands of reproduction, the genial, of sonads, The lyden or Leydig gland isthe seat of the soul; it i located just a litle above and behind the gonads or glands of reproduction, As the soul moves to create either in the spintual, the mental or material expression, the gonad is alerted by the pineal gland; it acts as the motor, the heartbeat, that responds to the divine purpose of all creation. The will Girects that life force, that spiritual impulse from the pineal {land along the trunk tothe solar plexus, and as it flows through those centers of balance, the adrenals, between the material and the spiritual the image ofthat to be, whether it be for weal (or woe, is influenced according to the desire ofits creator. Is next stop is the thymus, within the heart, where love or hate is the choice made by the will directing the life fore, as its perfect or imperfect result. As it rises to the thyroid, the seat of the will in the throat, itis subjected to the complete direction of the wil either {0 rise into the pineal and become subject to the Christ influence or remain in the four material centers to complete that imaged. If the will ofthe soul doing the creating is amenable to the Christ, as it passes this center i€ flows on into the holy of holies, the pituitary centr, the house of the living God, within cach soul. If its ideal and purpose has become one with the Christ and the desire isto be one with the Father, the door is opened, the n richest gifts of the Kingdom are available, the cup that eunneth ‘overisset before the Son of God and if his will now comes under the will of the Father and is directed by Him, nothing is Impossible, miracles happen, the sun can stand sil, the waters ‘of « mighty river can be parted, the leprous body instantly be made clean, This is the way, this is that that Jesus had ‘become when He called Lazarus from the tomb; He became ‘that spiritual creative energy because He was one in mind and ‘purpose with His creator, It is not the purpose of this compiler to eulogize that which takes place if at this point the soul determines to use its position {in the house of God for its own selfishness. Our day-by-day experiences and reactions are to0 exposed to hide. ‘The spiritual direction of life forces flowing thorugh His successive lives was undertaken by a Son of God who came into ‘the world without sin, took up that eross that man had created by the misdirection of will, and keeping the ideal and purpose, little by ttle brought those forces into balance and one accord with Divine Will. This overcomes the last enemy of ‘the soul — death; this makes possible the resurrection. Too little has been writen or said about the part Eve, who later became Mary, played to reclaim the soul balance when manifesting in the earth. Too much has been said and written about the part she had as Eve, The emphasis was not leveled on the purpose for which she became « party to the events in the Garden, Genesis says God created her as a “helpmeet”, rot a elpmate. If Amilus came to seek and to save that which was lost in the earth, then Eve, being the companion soul, offered herself with her companion. The transgression of law was the manner in which Eve took up her cross. Her suffering would be both mental and physical, to bear children through Physical birth and suffer the mental anguish of her son's Suffering mailed to across until death released him. ‘What mother heart could hold mote sorrow? Somewhere along the ages surely she bowed to Divine law to be able to accept her responsibilty, knowingly, which she ‘did when asked by the angct if she were willing to become 3the mother ofthe Son of God, (03. The study of the Creation and the coming of man covers all aeas of exporince, and itis striking to Find how each of these developments is independent yet still consistent one with the other, System and order were allways strongly emphasized and stressed. Practical and often ‘ery simple answers were given fo what we would term difficult and complex propositions. This was made evident in tracing out ‘the lifereadings of those individuals who were closely associated 56 with Edgar Cayce, In many of the three thousand life readings ‘the people had in one orin several lives come under the influence fof both Mr. Cayce and the Master. Mr. Cayce’s life pattern followed that of Jesus, but at times in seeming conflict though ‘mostly on the positive side. ‘The incarnations covered experiences over millions of years, from Lemuria to the present, with emphasis on the Atlantean, Egyptian, Persian and Palestine periods. ‘These brought an ‘understanding that greatly aided comprehension of the evolution fof man. The readings revealed that the people who were with hhim in this life were the sime individuals who had been with or near him in many other lives, and that often they paralleled the incarnations of Fsus, People often ask the question, “Why do these life readings show that the person previously was a princes, a king, or some sreat character of history?” This isto put the emphasis in the ‘wrong place. In most incarnations cited these were for a far different purpose than to inflate the ego. If at that time the Individuals were in positions of influence and fuliled their ‘opportuity ina constructive manner, it would not be necesary inthe present life or this tobe brought to the person's attention, because the quality hoped for would have been gained by the souls as they became more attuned to Creative Force, If the experience wasnot constructively Fulfilled, then a8 they returned to earth they were again stationed with those with whom they still had work to do. In most instances they came into the same families or groups because of the love for some members, oF purpose long established which could be more successfully Carried out with the father, mother, brother, sister, or tOUp With whom they had been before. There are as many reasons a$ there are people. Too much attention is focused on what man terme greatness of position in the earth; in the overall scheme of things, King or celebrity ‘oF wellknown personality represents only’ man’s concept of ‘reatness and not God's, In the universal plan of events these people were souls given a conspicuous opportunity in which togow, 37‘deals and purposes change in different incarnations and in some show great variance a the individual becomes carried ‘away with himself, but eventually they are rest by the touch of the Master ‘in most life readings the era before the Flood was prominent, when the second influx of souls came in to stem the tide of Jestructon, These the Bible refers to as the 144,000, aso thus ‘designated in the Edgar Cayce readings. These people became the Jews and the Israelites, and are still seeking fo fulfil that mnssion. As the time approaches for the second coming of the ‘Master, and those chosen ones have spiitualized 144,000 cells within 2ech oftheir own bodies, the 144,000 themselves become {lls in the body of God, They bear the mark of the Christin their forehead; they are permitted in the house of the Fathes the pituitary gland, the Temple of the most high God, Their transfiguration fas’ become real and the soul may, if it so ‘hooss, lay down the burden of flesh and pass to other realms of development in this system or others. Before this time arrives for those who look to the hour of is coming, many ‘decisions must be made as to what stand to take — not only on the individual level but inthe spheres of their influenee, the home, community, state, national and {nternational relationships. To some this may appear prepos- ‘erous, but the readings reveal ths to be true, as the following excerpt will show: ence the entity may be expected to experience, be astcatd wth £0 ‘be conected in sone frm or manner wth not only unas expericnces for an indvideal entity, but with many who ve had, who wil faves mach to do withthe changing of pois ~ lel, sate, national fd international, For thse ae at + part of a univenal or brosder Conscommest to which the eal wil i a great measie contsibute in ‘i sojourn 24543, ‘The decisions that must be made from time to time, whether large or smal, ares testings that come to each one of us. So with the Master in the forty days He spent in the wilderness, when He had to defermine the answers to the forthcoming rents He could foresee, with thei results. The Holy Ghost had 38 ‘descended upon Him and He had come to know the power He ‘could command, Satan, representing the desires of the body and the mind, brought the templation to use this power for self, thus gaining for Him the whole worl, He was the frst rman to be given this power and so the first to brave this wilderness, There were no courses charted through it; the decision had to be made by Him. Hunger, pain, weakness, and the desire for the things the world offered confronted Him; the choice had to be made, and it was. Now those who come after and Seek to find the way can follow the tral He blazed, ‘There are weaknesses still to be met by each of us, perhaps at an unsuspecting moment when we are not prepared. The Same opportunity to choose right or wrong action confronts 1 from time to time. “The Edgar Cayce readings give this hope and comfort when it happens to us that we fil, by saying that even the trying is counted to the individual for gain. Is not this the law of grace that He brought to the earth? Is this not the Comforter that He made possible? He had one God and no other; this was His strength, His constant attunement to this Creative Energy won Him the ictory. Thie attunement in our own lives brings balance to Imbalance, harmony from disharmony, ofder out of chaos. What is this magic button that He pushed to bring all things under His control? As has been given inthe record of His life, in the sacred writings of every creed, schism or ism, there are clues to this mage. He always went alone unto the mountain topray. Wheres this magic mountain? Within His own body and also in our own ~ the pineal center, the mount of tanstiguration it converteth the soul. The prodigal son is transfigured before he enters his Father's house ~ the pituitary gland inthe center ofthe forehead, the temple of the living Godin the body of man, When we pray we speak to God and atk; then in the quiet of meditation we listen, and a "sil, mall voice” rising through the tree of life, under the direction of the Christ spirit, speaks at the gate, or will where the gate is opened and the will is one with the sprit, Always the prayer is answered; not always 9in the manner we have hoped for, but always for our benefit, Whether near or far. ‘There were 144,000 that followed Moses through the wilder- ness; these were of the ace chosen by God to keep the name of| the one God In the eatth, the same souls following their promise to stem the “tide of destruction”, even though they were scattered, “as the chaff before the wind”. They will be fathered into their Father's house when the "time and times and half times" have passed. This promise is true fo those who have “named the Name” ‘The 144,000 were the same that followed Amiius into the ‘earth. These were sealed in promise, and when their mission is Finished the mark will be in the forehead; then He will return in His own spiritualized body, come to claim His own. ‘The mark will be in the hand of those who “worship the ‘beast, oF those who have bowed down to other gods ~ money, fame or fortune; things of the world, ~ it can be anything that we put above the love of God, even another person Many that werg not of the chosen number will also bear the mark in the forehead and will be selected because they had “eyes to see and ears to heat”. The reference to this and its verification isto be found in the Bible; the Book of the Revelation, chapter 7. ‘Also in Revelation 14:1 we find this verification “And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, ‘and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in thei foreheads.” It would appear that this day is fast approaching, (This Poychic Reading was given by Edgar Cayce at the tend of eheck-physical reading (No. 1315:3) 6/14/32, 11:30 AM, after suggestion had been given three times for him to wake ups] stay EC: The Lord's Seppe ~ here withthe Maser ~ see what they had for pr ~ oiled fh, ee, with eck, wine, and loa. He has the tile given him of Great Prophet; his disciples call him the Son of God. He raises the dead and heals al sorts of diseases. “He isa tll, welkproportioned man, and there s an air of severity in his countenance which at once attracts the love and everence of those who soe him. His har isthe color of new Wine from the roots to the ears, and thence to the shoulders it js curled and falls down the lowest part of them. Upon the forehead, it parts in two after the manner of Nazarenes. “His forehead is flat and fai, his face without blemish oF defect, and adorned with a graceful expression. His nose and ‘mouth ate very well proportioned, his beard is thick and the Color of his hair. His eyes are gray and extremely lively. “tn his reproots, he is terrible, but in his exhortations and. instructions, amiable and courteous. There is something wonder- fully charming in this face with mixture of gravity. He is hover seen t0 laugh, but has been observed to weep. He i very right in stature, his hands large and spreading, his arms axe very beautiful ‘Tf talkslitte, but witha great quality and is the handsomest san in the world.” [Clipping from Femina & Woman's Life, March 12, 1964 sent from Johannesburg, South Attica} ‘Ashefore stated the Immaculate Conception was two hundred ‘thousand years in its fulllment in the Virgin Birth of the im Iaculate body of Jesus, So it was also with the Crucifixion; it took a lot of living, here a litle, thee @ little, for the over- Coming of that which self had created. To understand the earth fnd its influences it had to be experienced and be brought under spiritual law through the purpose and ideal held by the Soul experiencing same, This was the real crucifixion. Death on 2 the cross was the last to be fulfilled before the soul could have complete power over all earth's influences. This way, His way could and can be the only way; He made it by the every day
