Program Proposal for the Youth Awareness to

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Program Description: Sexually Transmitted Diseases are becoming a major health issue for the
young generations today. Most them are indulging in pre-marital sex, without thinking that they
might have caught diseases. The program we think can help spread awareness about STD is
through creating a mobile application that will serve as a medium to the information.

Program Goal: The goal of this program is to make a convenient and informative mobile
application where can they learn about all information regarding Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Program Proposal: As a Computer Science student which specialization is to create computer


programs and application software, we decided to take it us our way on how to spread
awareness about Sexually Transmitted Disease. We decided to create a mobile application that
will serves as a medium to the people especially the youth. On this application, people can learn
about all information regarding STD, like causes, types, pictures, symptoms, preventions, medical
treatment, latest news about STD, and tips on how to seek medical help. for This program is
intended to use by the general public, most especially the youth.

Program Objective: On this mobile application, we hope that this will serve as a way to reduce
cases of STD on the youth.
