DAILY VEHICLE/MOBILE INSPECTION CHECKLIST (DVMIC)

Before operating the DVMIC indicated below, I personally conducted a walk-around ocular inspection of the
unit and found the following condition/s existing:

OK – Serviceable/Good Condition NA – Not Applicable NC – Not Conducted


Note:
NWC – Not in working Condition (state deficiency) UK – Unknown

1. It is a must that the driver/operator shall accomplish this DVMIC before operating the vehicle/unit.
2. Every driver/operator, no matter how short the time of operation or distance of travel, shall accomplish
this DVMIC at least once during his tour of duty.
3. This shall be forwarded to the Detachment Commander for evaluation and consolidation.
4. It would still be the discretion/judgment of the concerned Detachment Commander to allow or not to
allow the operation of the unit after carefully evaluating the defect/s of the unit as indicated in this
DVMIC.
5. The consolidated DVMIC shall be forwarded to the Operations Department every month for reference
and filing into its Perpetual Maintenance Record of the Logistics Department.
