TRAINING DESIGN FOR


ONE-DAY SCHOOL-BASED LEADERSHIP TRAINING
S.Y. 2015-2016

I. Rationale

Student leadership is one of the vital role that can be seen to carry out a range of duties
and tasks centered on the development and expansion not only for the students and school
but to the leaders also who do and work where their intellectual, physical, and emotional
aspect traverse positive transformation and change within themselves during the practice
of their responsibilities. Unfortunately, it is undeniable that student leaders have limited
knowledge and understanding in the art of leadership thereby limit them to initiate or
spearhead various activities under their concern and interests. With this, it is imperative to
sharpen further the leadership skills and knowledge of these student-leaders. Considering
this need, the SSG adviser initiate this One-day School-based Leadership Training to
address this call.

II. Objectives

a. Educate student leader-participants to become more responsible leaders;


b. Enumerate the qualities to possess which will make them develop the spirit of committed
leaders;
c. Provide them with different activities to test the effectiveness of their leadership practices;
d. Enumerate the duties and responsibilities manifested in Constitution and By-Laws of SSG
officers provided in Deped Order no. 47 s. 2014.
e. Encourage each officer of the SSG and classroom officers to engage in capacity building
activities which will help enhance their leadership skills.
f. Make an action plan which will focus on the activities that is to be undertaken by the
club/organization under their own flagship and programs.
