Dear Sir or Ma’am,

I’m Rohan Jain, electrical engineering graduate from IIT Bombay. Before joining IIM
Bangalore, I have worked in Goldman Sachs in the quant role as a Senior Analyst in the risk
division. I was among the 6 analysts out of 40 to get promoted to senior analyst in 1 year.
During my stint at Goldman, I have successfully led multiple projects with strong senior
leadership backing and support. I have been rated Outstanding (highest appraisal rating) by
the global market risk team of Goldman. I have also interned with Citigroup in the 3rd year of
my BTech, where I received the pre-placement offer for my work. Last year in June, I cleared
all levels of CFA exam. In May of 2019, I was selected by P&G for their annual leadership
program in Mumbai. I was 1 among 11 students from IIMB who got a chance to interact with
the Madhusudan Gopalan, CEO P&G India and various other senior brand managers. We
devised a marketing strategy to increase online traction for Herbal Essences, a natural
shampoo brand launched by P&G recently.

With my experience and solid professional track record in the leading financial services firms
in the world, combined with my education and curiosity to understand businesses, I believe,
I would be a valuable addition to the Gaja capital team. Since I’ve worked in firms with similar
culture to that of PE firms, I’m fully convinced that I’ll be a great fit to this esteemed
organization and will be able to excel in my role.
