Introduction

As an officer of the court, the Advocate has to assist him poor and deprived by
adhering to Rules of professional conduct. Social accountability of the advocate to
bring about aces to justice is the need of hour. The concept of legal service is
incomplete without legal literacy. The study relates to the role played Advocates,
universities, voluntary Organizations and Para legal’s for the promotion of legal
literacy which are integral part of legal aid programmers

The history of our own independence movement, if impartially written, will devote
more pages to lawyers than to the votaries of any other vocation. It is well accepted
proposition that he Profession of Law is a noble calling and the members of the
Legal Profession occupy a very high status.

One role of the lawyer in a common law system is to be a balance wheel, a


harmonizer, and a reconciler. He must be more than simply a skilled legal
mechanic. In a larger sense he must also be a legal architect, engineer, and builder
and, from time to time, an inventor as well.

Research Methodology
The method of research that I will be employing in my project is ‘Doctrinal
Research Method’. The Research Methodology for completing this research work
would be descriptive and analytical. But mostly, it would be a descriptive project.
The source of data would be secondary and a lot reading from online sources
would be referred to, to understand its role and functions.
Research Questions

 What is role of BCI in legal education?


 What are the rules of an Advocate’s duty towards court?
 What are the rules of an Advocate’s duty towards client?
 What are the rules of an Advocate’s towards fellow Advocate’s?
