Conditional Sentences of English

This document contains examples of different types of conditional sentences in English. It provides 10 examples each of: 1) Type 1 conditional sentences, which are used to talk about possible or likely present or future situations. Students are asked to put verbs in brackets into the correct tenses. 2) Type 2 conditional sentences, which are used to talk about unlikely or improbable present or future situations. Again, students must put verbs in the correct tenses. 3) Type 3 conditional sentences, which are used to talk about hypothetical or improbable past situations. Verbs in brackets must be changed to the appropriate past tense form.

CONDITIONAL SENTENCES (TUGAS KELAS XI MIPA 6)

Conditional sentences: type I


Put the verbs in brackets into the correct tenses.

1. Ice (turn)……………. to water if you heat it.


2. If the house (burn)…………………….. down we can claim compensation.
3. If you (not like)………………………. this one I'll bring you another.

Put the verbs in brackets into the correct tenses.

Conditional sentences: type 3


Put the verbs in brackets into the correct tenses.
