Significance of The Study

Significance of the Study

The result of this study will employ the recommendations that will help the school administrators,
teenagers and parents to have a knowledge about addiction in computer games.

The following are the beneficiaries of the study:

School administrators.
This research aims to encourage the school administrators to have a strict monitoring system to
those teenagers who are engage in computer games and give advice about its effect on their health
and studies.

Teachers.
This study will provide good information to teachers that will encourage them to warn the teenagers
about playing computer games.

Teenagers.
This will be very beneficial for the teenagers especially for those who are using so much time in
playing computer. This study will not only assess their health about using computer, it will also help
them know the negative effects of computer in their health. This research will be an eye opener for
them to be aware that using computer has bad effects to their body.

Parents.
This research will present data that will give a realization to the parents about the risk of health of
those who are engage in using or playing computer games.

Future researchers.
The result of this research can be used as a reference of the future researchers in collecting and
gathering idea and information that are essential to the study they will be conducting in the future.

Scope and limitations.


This study focuses on the percentage of adults that engage or addicted in using computer in San
Vicente Homes Subdivision, Santa Maria, Bulacan.

The focus of this study is to lessen the number of teenagers who are addicted in computer games.

In this research the participants are composed of thirty (30) teenagers from San Vicente Homes
Subdivision, Santa Maria, Bulacan.
