BPP For Business Partner

BPP for Business Partner – Sold To:

T-Code BP
First Create the Business Partner:

Click on Organization
Business Partner (Gen.) will default
Select Sold To party in Grouping.
Populate all red check marked fields (all countires)
Populate all blue check marked fields (US)
Populate black check marked fields if information is available (optional)
Once all fields are populated save data
After saving, a business partner number will be generated:
Create the sold to Role for the Business Partner:
This will include the Sales Role, the Finance Role (formerly Company Code) and the Credit
Management Role)
Click on the edit icon in the top menu bar above the Business Partner field:

Select Sold to in the Change in BP Role:

Click on the Sales and Distribution button in the top menu bar above the Sold to Customer (New) field:

Enter:
Sales Org
Dist Channel
Division
You will Default to the Sold To tab:
Enter the checkmarked Fields
Red is mandatory for all countries
Black is optional if currency must be changed, default is USD

Select shipping Tab and populate the check marked areas:


For US and all other Countries Dlv Priority =02, Shipping Conditions = 01
For most non US Complete delivery will be checked and Max Part Deliveries will be Blank, Part Dlv/item
will be B
For US Complete delivery will be un-checked, Max Part Deliveries will be 1, Part Dlv/Item will be A
Click on the Billing Tab and populate the Check Marked areas
Incoterms will vary based on country and terms will be given by Credit
Credit Control area is always 1000, Acct Assmt Grp Cust. Ist typically 01
Tax Classification will vary based on Country, US is always 01

Click on Partner Functions and enter the trading partners options necessary based on the sales org for
the customer
US Z1 – Z4
International Z1 – Z3
The Sold to Party will be populated on this tab when the data is saved.
Click on the additional data tab and populate the Customer Group 1 based on your choices in the drop
down menu

If needed Sales Blocks can be entered on the Status Tab:

Save
Create the FI Customer (Company Code Data)
Click on the Edit button and then change the BP Role to FI Customer

Click on the Company Code Data and enter the Company code and enter to open the fields for editing

Click on the Account Management Tab and populate the check marked areas
Click on the Payment Transactions Tab and populate the check marked data
Click on Customer Correspondence tab and select 2 in Bank Statement

Save

Create the Credit Management Role


Click on the Edit button and then change the BP Role to SAP Credit Management

Click on the Credit Profile Tab and assign a risk class (this will need to be provided by Credit)
Rules and Check Rule will default
Click on Credit Segment Data in the upper menu bar
Populate Credit Segment Both 1000 & 0000 must be populated
Populate Rules: Always Limit Defined and an amount (We need to determine who is to do this, Credit or
CS)

Click on Relationships in the upper Menu Bar

Populate the Relationship Category, Credit Segment, and the Relationship to BP with a Credit Analyst

Click on Create then save
