Needed: Ultraprobe 10,000 and CF card; Possible Accessories: Remote Magnetic


1 Stethoscope Module; Rubber Focusing Probe; 2 Transducer; Extension Rods for Stethoscope
Headphones Module

Move Cursor to Function Bar by Pushing If Using a Route, move Route to Flash Card, then
3 Sens.Knob 2X and Press Enter for Setup Menu 4 load to Ultraprobe by using Data Transer. Refer to
Instructions "Loading Route."

If baselining the route, have Instrument Setup in If you are PERFORMING the BASELINE Readings,
5 Manual. If route is established and baselined, have 6 proceed to NEXT INSTRUCTION, if not READ the
Inst.Setup in Auto. Picture Below.

Rotate for Application Select, Push Sens.Knob. A clean memory is a must to keep files organized.
7 Rotate to Bearings or Generic, push Sens.Knob 8 It is Normal to Delete Records when changing
(Enable Bearings). Press Enter to Exit. apps.

Rotate to Module Type Select, push Sens.Knob. Rotate to Instrument Setup, Push Sens.Knob.
9 Rotate to Stethoscope (STM) or Remote Magnet 10 Rotate for "Manual", Push Sens.Knob to Select/Exit
(RMT); Push Sens to Select/Exit

Rotate to Enter Inspector ID [under "More" in Setup Press Enter 2X to Save/Exit and return to Main
11 Menu], push Sens.Knob. Enter 3 Alpha-Numeric 12 Display.
Characters use Sens.Knob.

Push Sens.Knob 1X to move cursor to Frequency. IF Route has been baselined and established refer
13 Rotate to 30 kHz (or lower for slower speed) 14 to NOTE. Note does not hold true for
troubleshooting WITHOUT having a route loaded.

Push Sens. 1X more [if cursor at S= push 2X] Push Sens.Knob 1X more to return cursor to S=
15 moving Cursor to Function Bar. Rotate Sens until 16 (Operational Home Spot for Adjusting Sensitivity).
Store Record or Record Wav in prep for readings.

Once Finished with Storing Record or Recording ALWAYS WEAR the HEADPHONES.
21 Wav, move to next test point. Unit Returns to Main 22
Display advanced to next point.
