Azatobactor on Maize, Seed germination testing of major crop, Fodder treatment, Application of
Neem seed extract spray-5%, Soil Sampling and Testing, Seed classes and importance of their
tags, Value added dairy product, NADEP compost, Use of light trap, Safe Handling of
Insecticides and Pesticides and Preparation of Azolla at selected twelve villages i.e. Gondegaon,

ASDS, MPKV, Rahuri at Rahuri Tal- Nashik on 03rd August, 2017.
 Prof. T. B. Ugale delivered lecture on Darjedar Bhajipala Utpadan Tantradynan at
Shenit, Tal. Igatpuri, on 20th July, 2017 for farmers organized by RAWE student and Daily
Agrowon under Agrosanwad.
 RAWE girls student organized Group discussion on Integrated Disease Management of
Tomato at Kumbhari Tal-Niphad on the occasion of Krish Din information provided by Dr. B.
M. Elhe, Mycologist, ARS, Kundewadi.
 Organised lecture on Soil Sample Testing delivered by Mr. Sunil Shinde on 30/06/2017
at Panchkeshwar tal Niphad Dist- Nashik.
 Arranged the training programme on “Cultivation practices in vegetables along with Field
Visit” in collaboration with MACP,Nashik, Green Field Agro Services, Nashik at Sarole ,Tal-
Niphad, Dist-Nashik on 20th August, 2015 as a part of RAWE Programme.
 Dr. R. B. Sonawane, Pathologist, OGRS, Pimpalgaon B. delivered lecture on Disease
management in Grapes at Mukhed on 21/08/2014 Shetkari Melawa organized by RAWE
students.

RAWE Activities
RAWE students have been guided to carry out different extension and social activities
in 13 villages under RAWE programme in academic year 2014-2015

 Formation of Information Corner by RAWE students at all allotted villages.

 Rawe student celebrated Independence Day at respective villages they also organised
various competition for school students.
 Rawe student organized blood donation camp on 20/08/2014. Total blood bag collected:-
70.
 Method Demonstrations on Seed treatment, Soil testing, Mango grafting and Azolla
production etc. in all selected villages.
 Result Demonstrations on Weed Management in grape, use of yellow sticky trap and
pheromone trap in tomato and cabbage.
 Health Check-up Camps arranged at all 13 villages.
 Tree Plantations: - 500 numbers of plants were planted in 13 villages.
 Celebration of Krishi Din
 To focus RAWE student activities, wide publicity of various activities of students were
given through news in news papers.
News items sent to News papers- 65 in academic year 2014-2015.
 Extension activities like Method demonstration, framers schools, group discussion,
preparation of farm literature, farm news, survey work, blood donation camps, sports
competition, celebration of soil testing day, celebration of various festivals with host farmers etc.
were carried out by RAWE students in every academic year.
