This advice and your ability to focus on what’s important and to stick to what

Everywhere in our entire life, but specifically in our digital world we have to
experience and endure a sheer bombardment of distracting, noisy, shady
marketing messages by snake oil salesman and pseudo-gurus.
This is especially bad in the online wealth-vertical and sub-niches “work from
home”, “mlm”, “biz-opp” and “make money online”. Unethical marketers rely
on our weaknesses and constantly try to sell us the next “quick and easy”
money making method or “high ticket” program.
You can start with very little money, but you have to understand that it will
take some work and time to learn and apply the necessary skills.
If you want to, you can speed up the process by investing money (in paid
traffic, outsourcing, mentorship etc.), but please don’t be fooled by the “build
your business in one week” promises. Especially if you’re new to this.
It will take some time, sweat and patience to see results, but I promise you:
It will be totally worth it.
Another way to look at it: As a blogger or online business owner, you have
the (highly valuable) attention of your audience. Your website visitors are
also referred to as traffic. You recommend a product to your audience and
send them to another business. You are basically preparing the sale.
If this business makes a sale, because you sent them traffic, you get a
commission. It’s that simple.
A person performs a Google search, then clicks on your website, reads and
likes the content, follows your recommendation (to Amazon for example) and
buys a product. Then you get a commission. That’s it!
Let’s dig a little deeper and look at the process, step by step:
You don’t want to copy anyone’s work, but follow a simple business model
that works and puts consistent money in your pockets.

You want to develop a very clear picture of your ideal
client / your audience. Understand them and get into their
head, see and feel their frustrations, so you can help them
(better). Take a look at the following characteristics and
answer the following points and questions about your ideal
client / target market:
What keeps them up at night, worrying, staring at the ceiling? What worries
them, what’s their pain, what’s their frustration? What are they afraid of?
What do they fear? What is their SINGLE BIGGEST PROBLEM that you
can solve? What are their top 3 daily frustrations? What do they secretly,
privately desire the most? What is their current situation, what is their
desired situation?
When are people who fit this avatar / profile most likely to be influenced by
our message? When do they really want to hear (more) from us about our
products and services? How can we serve them? How can we help them
better? How can we help them better than anyone else?
What do I do that’s truly awesome, really much better than all other business
owners and solution providers?
Is there an opportunity void in the marketplace that I can fill?
Can I make my USP short and easy to relay?
Can my USP start a conversation?
Do I stand out? Do I REALLY help my ideal client in the best possible way?
These questions help you to develop the USP for your business:
Regularly producing valuable, helpful content that ranks high in the search
engines is a very good way of attracting people to you!
But once you’ve got the attention of your traffic, most simply won’t buy. Most
visitors won’t follow your recommendations because they don’t trust you yet.
It’s very hard to build real trust and rapport on the first contact.
That’s why you want your visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter. That
way, you can get in touch with them over and over again, and you can show
them that you’re an authority, an expert in your niche.
To build that email list, that list of subscribers, you have to offer them
