Loss Diagram

This loss diagram summarizes the key parameters and energy losses for a 6MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant over the course of a year. The plant uses 18564 horizontal axis trackers tilted at the latitude facing east-west. After accounting for various losses like shading, temperature effects, mismatches, and inverter/transformer losses, the plant is expected to generate 15585 MWh of energy available at the inverter output. Of this, 7475 MWh will be used on-site, 5665 MWh will be directly supplied to the user from solar generation, and 9755 MWh will be reinjected into the grid.
