This document provides design details for the reinforcement of 14 ground floor columns. The columns have a size of 200x200mm except for columns 2,3,6,7,8 which are 250x250mm below the plinth beam level. Each column is reinforced with 4 #12mm diameter bars as main reinforcement. Stirrups of 8mm diameter bars are provided at 190mm centers. The concrete has a specified compressive strength of 25N/mm2 and the steel has a yield strength of 500N/mm2.
