Pre-Lesson Beat the Teacher Pre-Lesson:


• Teachers write lines to correspond to each letter on the board. Task 7
• Pupils need to guess the letter correctly. If they guess correctly,
write the letter on the board. If not, draw one part of the head.
• If pupils guess the word before the face is completed, they have
beaten the teacher vice versa.

Lesson Word Jumble 21st Century Learning skills:


Development • Ask pupils to unscramble the word jumble and match to the Thinking skills

• Show pupils a few sentence patterns as a model.
