I. Introduction
Thank you for using Weyuan Ceiling LED Surgical Light. In order to give full play to the
functions of Ceiling LED Surgical Light and correctly master the operation and repair &
maintenance, please read the Manual carefully before installation and use so that you can use
the lamp more proficiently.
Application scope of Ceiling LED Surgical Light: Suitable for operation illumination in
medical institutes.

Normal working conditions of Ceiling LED Surgical Light:

Power voltage: ~220V Power frequency: 50Hz

Environmental temperature: Relative humidity: ≤ 80%
5℃~40℃

Standard installation height: 2.7-3.2m.

Classification of products: I-type equipment without application parts. It does not resist liquid
inlet. It cannot be used under the condition that inflammable anesthetizing gas that mixes with
air or oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Working system: continuous operation.
Fixed permanent installation equipment. Refer to the Manual’s requirements for the
disinfection method. The product is the shadowless operation lamp without preventing from
failures.

Under the rated working current, LED’s lifespan test is accumulated to LED 20,000 hours.
According to the estimation method recommended by ASSIST, LED lifespan is 30,000 hours.
** Single lamp holder’s weight: Main lamp head: 12.6Kg; Satellite lamp head: 8.4Kg.
***The equipment should avoid from electronic intervention source.
**** Warning of superposition of irradiance: The total superposed irradiation of the equipment
under the condition of highest WYLED700/700M light spot illumination is ≥1000 W/m2.
Please reduce the illumination.

1.2 Waste handling
The alternate items should be correctly handled according to relevant national environmental
protection requirements.
-- Already damaged electronic parts.
The equipment and accessories are disinfected according to relevant Health and Disinfection
Laws.
II. Working principle
The light path of LEDM ceiling shadowless operation lamps forms the light cylinder by light
beam of multi-path LED point-light source through the optical lens.
The rotation balance system of the operating lamp is to satisfy different operations’ different
needs so that operating illumination is at the best angle. The working principle of the rotation
system is making use of the rotation of the rotating arm so that the operating lamp can rotate by
360° and is positioned at the desired place. At the same time, the damping can be adjusted so
that the lamp can be moved easily and positioned stably and reliably. The working balance of
the balance system is pre-compressing the compression spring and generating the force for the
balance of lamp holder through the four-bar linkage so that the lamp holder can move flexibly
and easily. In addition, the series of operating lamp can adjust the illumination and color
temperature of light. There are ten gears of illumination adjustment and five gears of color
temperature adjustment.
The installation height of LEDM ceiling shadowless operating light is 2.7~3.2m. The ideal
height is 3m. The range of upward & downward movement of the light holder is 1.1m.

III. Technical characteristics
 Using high-brightness Osram LED cold light source, LED light-emitting diodes have a
service life of more than 50,000 hours, low light decay, energy saving, long service life,
and very few ultraviolet and infrared components.
 Use digital dimming technology to meet doctors' requirements for different brightness, and
the color temperature is stable.
 The control board adopts a high-quality constant-current chip scheme with constant
current output, with more accurate current and more reliable quality.
 LED dot matrix and program arrangement, even if individual lights do not work, does not
affect the overall brightness.
 The spot is continuously adjustable to meet the requirements of different doctors for
surgical vision.
 Detachable high temperature handle to meet the requirements of high temperature
sterilization during surgery.
 Standard color temperature 3500-5000K, soft and not dazzling, effectively reduce the
doctor's visual fatigue.
 High color rendering index: 85 ≤ Ra ≤ 100 to meet doctors' resolution of blood vessels,
internal organs and different tissues.
 If the temperature rises at a low temperature, the temperature of the irradiated surface is
converted into the total irradiance. The total irradiance Ee from a 1m light area of a single
lamp should not exceed 1000 W/m2. The irradiance Ee and illuminance Ec ratio of
surgical shadowless lamps should not exceed 6mW/(m2.lx).
 Illumination performance: It has excellent shadowless rate, deep cavity illumination, and
beam depth.
 Detachable handle jacket high temperature sterilization cooking method: not more than
140 °C 0.22MPa not less than ten minutes (handle can not be pressed), after completion of
75% alcohol wipe disinfection.
 Equipped with lightweight balance arm suspension system, the six groups of joints are free
to rotate, and the movement is light and the positioning is stable. The 540° rotation design
can meet the height and angle requirements of shadowless lights during surgery.
 High-temperature and sterilization boiling method of dis-mountable handle’s cover: No
more than 140℃ for no more than 10 minutes (the handle should not press on other things).
Wipe it with 75% alcohol and disinfect it after this.

IV. Installation and debugging

The product is a permanently installed equipment, which is installed by specific personnel.

4.1 Basic requirements

According to the structural features of the operation room, users can carry out basic
construction refer to Fig. 1 for the size of foundation construction. The foundation must bear
higher than 500Kg loads. The height of the fixed frame in the operation room is 280 ~ 310cm.
When the height of the fixed frame in the operation room is larger than 330cm, the spreading
frame should be rigid enough to prevent the lamp from shaking.

4.2 Installation of base-plate
Install the round base-plate equipped by us first. It must be installed firmly. Use 4 M12*100
expansion screws to fasten the baseboard onto the installation fixed plate. Correct the
verticalness and the horizontal between the axial line of the baseboard to ensure the sound
operation of the shadowless operating lamp. Then fasten the 4 M12 screws.

4.3 Installation of the rotator

Embed the rotator into the baseboard together and fasten six nuts.

4.4 Installation of balance arm

Unscrew the blots in the balance arm, and embedded the wire and rotation arm, then faster the
two bolts.

4.5 Installation of lamp holder

Unscrew the bolts in the other side of balance arm, insert the balance corner joint on the lamp
holder into the balance arm’s hole (1), and then embed the wire(1), and fasten the bolt(2).

4.6 Linkage of connectors
Connect the two wires to the L and N in the power supplying box,regardless of positive and
negative.

4.7 Installation of cap plate

The sealing ring should be inserted into the rotator in advance. The plastic cover should be
installed according to the figure.

4.8 Installation of plastic cover of arm

Remove the brake block as below picture one; Open the plastic covers and insert them into the
two sides of balance arms.

4.9 Adjustment of balance arm

Upward direction: move the lamp holder upward after loosening it; limitation direction:
maintain the balance arm at the horizontal state; fastening direction: adjust it when the upward
lifting force of the lamp holder is too large; loosening direction: adjust it when the downward
pulling force of the lamp holder is too large (the above operations should be monitored by
specific personnel).

4.10 Dismantling and installation of aseptic handle
Dismantle the aseptic handle: press the button with the thumb and take off the aseptic handle.
Insert the aseptic handle: insert the aseptic handle into the handle directly. There will be a
sound after the successful installation.

4.11 Adjustment of light spot

In order to satisfy different types of operation, rotate the aseptic handle clockwise or
counterclockwise so as to adjust the size of the light spot.

4.12 Operation and explanation of functional buttons on the control panel

A) When the power is turned on, the indicator light will be on; press the key to open, the
display will light, the indicator will be turned off automatically, and the operation light will be
on. Adjust the brightness or color temperature of the lamp by pressing the switch knob,

increase or decrease the brightness by turning the switch knob, and adjust the color temperature

B) Explanation of functional buttons

4.13 Operation
When the power is connected, 1 is green.
Start the surgical light by pressing 3 in use, move the lamp holder to the desired position (1m
from the illumination area is the optimal).
4, 5 controls the weakness and enhancement of the illuminance and 6, 7 controls the weakness
and enhancement of color temperature.
Press 2 to select endoscope module.
Press 3 for 3 seconds to turn off the surgical shadow lamp.
4.14 Movement of lamp body
The rotation arm can rotate at any angle, and balance arm can rotate 530°. The hand-held
handle can adjust the illumination angle of the lamp holder. The hand-held aseptic handle
enables the upward and downward movement of the lamp holder.

After all the installation completes, specific maintenance personnel should attach specific
seals and fill in the installation code with marking pens. Remember not to seal off it

arbitrarily!
Note: Users must install AC220V power double-circuit cutting switch on the wall.
User switch must conform to all regulations in IEC 328 “Electric Appliance Switch” (1972):
Switch must be upward on and downward off or rightward on and leftward off. There must be
“0” and “1” or “ON” and “OFF” symbols on the switch or surrounding the switch. The
creepage distance of the switch should not be less than 4mm. The electricity gap should not be
less than 2.5mm.

VI. Installation for floor standing lamp

6.1 Installation the casters

Install the four casters and place the block into the hole in the base as the following pic.

6.2 Installation the base
Remove the screws in the base, take off the base cover as pic 2, and linkage the base plate (pic
3)and casters(pic 4) together.

6.3 Linkage of the casters and downward support tube

Pass the downward support tube in pic 1 through the base cover as pic 2; Remove the screws in
the connect tube, and link the downward support tube with the connect tube as pic 6, faster the
screws; Link the wires as pic 7.

6.4 Linkage the downward support tube with upper support tube; linkage the upper
support tube with balance arm.
Link the wires, place the ring in the downward support tube; Link downward support tube with
upper support tube; Fasten the screw.

Remove the brake block as below picture one; Open the plastic covers and insert them into the
two sides of balance arms.

VII. Security
1. The installation foundation of the shadowless operating light must bear more than 500Kg
load to prevent the operating lamp from falling.
2. Check the connection of each parts of the operating lamp regularly (once every year) to
prevent each part of the operating lamp from falling.
3. When installing the wires of the operating lamp, the output and lead-out wires must be
connected by the same color. DO not make a mistake in connecting (Construction personnel
must possess basic professional knowledge)

4. After the use, cut the grid power. (Cut the grid power through cutting off the double-circuit
power installed on the wall.)
5. The maintenance of the operating light (except for the contents in “repair and maintenance”)
must be carried out by the personnel designated by the company. Otherwise, our company does
not undertake any responsibility for the consequence.
6. The warranty term of PETAL Ceiling LED Surgical Light sold by our company is two years
with “three warranties” services. Refer to the user’s buy-in receipt for the warranty term. Make
sure that the user fill in the feedback sheet and send the copy of invoice to our company within
60 days. Our company implements maintenance warranty and lifelong maintenance.
7. The operating lamp’s lifespan produced by our company is ten years.
8. Our company keeps the product’s remodeling right. Please forgive us that we will not notify
you specifically. If the user needs further technical information, the user can ask our company
for post-sales services.
9. We suggest that the hospital should equip backup power and the symbols that should be used
on power.

VIII. Failure exclusion and repair & maintenance

Note: 1. Cut off the power when exchanging the fuse wire and install another of the same
specification!
2. If it is powered on and some LEDs are not on, ask specific personnel for
maintenance.
1. Before use, dismantle the aseptic handle and disinfect it with high temperature or 75%
alcohol and clean the lamp holder with soft cloth that has 75% alcohol.
2. The light plate on the lamp holder should be cleaned with glass cleaning agent. Pay attention
that the handle, aseptic handle and lamp glass plate should not be cleaned with organic solvent.
3. After the completion of use, cut off the power.
4. If the user needs further technical information, get it from Department of Post-sales Services
in our company.
