Script Writing Rubric 1

The rubric evaluates playwriting on communication conventions, clarity of plot, application of format, creativity, characterization, and quality of dialogue. A score of 1 means the play has many errors, a disorganized plot, lacks stage directions, shows little imagination, and unclear characters with minimal dialogue. A score of 4 represents a polished draft with clear organization, thorough application of format, imaginative details, well-developed characters, and varied dialogue.
