Autochartist MT4/MT5 installation manual.

1. Download and launch the installation file.


2. Select installation language.

3. Click ‘Next’ to continue the setup


4. Note that you will need to close Metatrader to install the plugin. Make sure that you don’t have
any open trades to keep an eye on before selecting ‘Next’ to proceed.

5. Tick ‘Yes’ to accept the licence agreement and select ‘Next’.


6. During the next step the installer will try to determine the correct folder to install the plugin to.
Select the corresponding terminal in the pop up window as shown below and click ‘OK’.

If the terminal is not in the list, select ‘Specify Manually’ and specify the following path: C:\Program Files
(x86)\OctaFX\OctaFX

7. Wait for the installation finish.


8. Once successfully installed, login to your Metatrader terminal. The Autochartist plugin EA
will appear in the Navigator window.

9. Drag the Autochartist EA onto any open chat and click ‘OK’ to launch the plugin. You don’t need to
enable Autotrading for the plugin to function.
10. The Autochartist window will now be displayed on your chart.

11. If you’re installing Autochartist on Metatrader 5, follow the steps below:


• Click on ‘Tools’ in the menu and select ‘Options’
• Select the ‘Experts Advisors’ tab

• Tick the box next to ‘Allow WebRequest for the listed URL:’
• Double click on ‘add new URL’ and paste or type: https://mt5.autochartist.com
• Click ‘OK’
