The NAATI CCL test involves two dialogue tasks delivered

through recorded materials. You will be listening to recordings
of alternating segments of a conversation between an English
speaker and a Language Other Than English (LOTE) speaker.
The CCL test assesses the candidate’s ability to comprehend
source utterances (in English or the LOTE) and reproduce them
in the target language with a reasonable level of accuracy
and following the linguistic norms and conventions of both
languages.

The test dialogues will require meaning transfer skills in both

language directions and each of the dialogues will be from
different topic.

The duration of test can vary from 20 to 30 minutes.

in each dialogue and an overall score of 63 out of 90.
The result for the CCL Test will be given as:

●● CLEAR FAIL: less than 55 (marks out of 90)
In situations where a candidate achieves 23 out of 45 in
Dialogue 1, 41 out of 45 in Dialogue 2 and an Overall Score
of 64 out of 90, the result given will be CLEAR FAIL as the
candidate hasn’t achieved required score in Dialogue 1 (i.e.
