and approved full body safety harness, leather gloves for
handling electrical wires / removing ducting connection &
respiration mask.

General Instruction:
All electrical cables / wires must be treated as live by all
electrical personnel doing disconnection works.

4.2.4. Only approved routes shall be used for access to
and egress from the site
4.2.5. The drivers shall be made aware of the approved
routes
4.2.6. Trained banks-men with high-visibility vests shall
accompany the work activities
4.3. Overturning of vehicle / Crash injuries 4.3.1. All drivers shall have valid driving licenses, all
operators shall have 3rd party certifications
4.3.2. The areas where heavy equipment are working shall
be clearly marked on site
4.3.3. Safe access shall be maintained at site for vehicles
and equipment
4.3.4. Use of seatbelts shall be mandatory at all times

4.4. Slips / Trips / Falls 4.4.1. Housekeeping shall be discussed in daily TBT
(STARRT) and be implemented on site on a daily basis

5.a Removal of Slabs, Chutes & corrugated sheets. 5.a.1 Fall Hazard, eye injuries, hazard of falling 5.a.1.1 Pre activity training in the correct use of the Full

5.a.1.9 Taglines will be used to lower dismantled
corrugated sheets, chute, etc. This will be integrated with
the scaffold access tower.

5.b Dismantling of ceiling, steel roof, beams, etc. 5.b.1 Fall accident (personnel & material), Serious 5.b.1.1 Suitable Ladder will be provide ( Inspected and

inspection), correctly installed (if necessary)
5.b.1.4 Jack hammer tied with rope to prevent slippage &
dropping to ground. Safety wires, hose clamps and anti-
whip will be used. Rock hammer used for removal of
concrete columns and walls will be provided with spotter.
5.b.1.5 Competent supervisor will be appointed as
responsible person for dismantling works.
5.b.1.6 Original drawings for building will be review
5.b.1.7 All beams and members will be dismantled column
length and column length and tier by tier.
5.b.1.8 Flammables and unused materials or equipments
around and underneath the demolished shelter will be
removed & disposed.

6. Use of Back hoe equipped with Hydraulic hammer6.1 Crushing injuries due to falling objects and 6.1.1 Only qualified operator is allowed to operate

7. Use of Mobile Cranes 7.1 Defective equipment, Environmental and 7.1.1 Crane daily inspection shall be carried out by the
health hazard due to spill of diesel, oil, fluids. operator

operator
7.1.3 Any spills shall be reported
7.1.4 Use of mobile cranes for heavy lift. e.g. Slabs
concrete. Other loose materials will be lowered by hoist
and buckets.
General Instruction: Defective Mobile cranes should not be
in use

8. Use of Man Basket 8.1 Fall accident (personnel & material), Serious 8.1.1 Certification (Third Party inspection) of Man basket
body injury will be forwarded to Tecnimont HES manager for approval.
8.1.2 Allowable weight / SWL of man basket is applicable
to load
8.1.3 Use of full body harness for all the crew is mandatory
8.1.4 All material, tools are to be secure.
8.1.5 Secure man basket with two (2) lanyards, provide
additional worker to secure the lanyard or rope.

9. Loading, transportation(use of Loader and Truck) 9.1. Material falling from trucks 9.1.1. All materials on the trucks should be effectively
secured during transportation
9.1.2. Operators and Job Supervisor shall ensure that the
vehicle is not overloaded
9.1.3. All trucks shall be equipped with covering canvas
with ropes for easy (un)covering
9.1.4 All demolished materials will be transported to
designated areas as per Tecnimont waste management
procedure.
9.2. Speeding 5.2.1. Operators shall be made aware of traffic rules and
regulations; penalty system shall be implemented if
required

9.4. Operator struck by the bucket (loader) 5.4.1. Truck driver shall leave his vehicle and stand at a
safe distance during loading

10. Cutting of Side Walls 10.1. Collapse of side walls 10.1.1 No person is allowed to stand before the walls
which is under demolish
10.1.2 Barricade, signboard and any means of
unauthorized workers away from the site.
10.1.3 Designated spotter, banks-man for the area is
necessary

11. Housekeeping 11.1 Falling Objects, tripping hazards, skin 11.1.1 Use mobile crane to lift heavy objects
irritation, environmental hazard, hand injuries, 11.1.2 Complete PPE’s will be supplied and strictly
