SOP of Automatic Water Sprinkler System

The document outlines standard operating procedures for inspecting and maintaining an automatic water sprinkler system. It states that one sprinkler will be detached for inspection purposes and only those not covering electrical or mechanical equipment can be removed. The fire water supply line valve must be closed and the sprinkler line isolated before starting work. Spare parts like sprinklers and heat bulbs must match the design and specifications of those being replaced. Safety issues include the height of the sprinkler system requiring maintenance and the increased fire risk when the system is isolated, which requires fire extinguishers and mobile foam units to be on hand.
