Alternative Assignment

Band

Please complete a 1 and a ½ page essay, Times New Roman Font, Size 12, Double Spaced, on a
topic below. Students will need to compete 2 essays per week we are out and this will replace the
passoff grades. Students will be graded on content, grammar, and writing.

Composer Biography

Please research on of the composer’s listed below. Include details about their life that are relevant to
their works, some of their most famous pieces of music, and listen to one piece of their music and
review it.

you feel about the piece.
