Build: Radio Station DB v1.10.10, 46 EUR-Countries with 11707 Stations and 7196 Logos

Update Motivation and Operation:


- The Broadcast infrastructure is permanently changing.
- The Infotainment system contains a changeable Radio Station DB (=RSDB), to keep those data.
- Volkswagen supplies you an update of this module, which solves possible issues with missing or wrong
station logos and station names. The speech recognition for station names will also be updated.

Update Operation:
- The RSDB update might be delivered by a compressed ZIP container:
=> Please download and extract the ZIP archive to the root folder of an empty SD card.
=> Then plug SD card into the card slot of the infotainment system.
=> The update media should be recognized (=> notification in top line..).

- Goto: Menu → Settings → System Information:


=> There you can find the part number, HW and SW index and the active RSDB version.
=> The update is only necessary if the actually used RSDB version is lower than the update version!
=> At the bottom on the left side you can start the “Update Software” function.
=> The content of the update will be shown and you should confirm it if necessary!

=> The update takes about one minute! - Please confirm to “Restart now” at the end of the update.

Post Update Operation: Attention!


- All stored station logos might get removed from your stored Favorites (Presets)!
=> Please recall all of your preset stations and directly store them again!
=> The station logo from the new database should appear now!
