ADVANCED MANUFACTURING PROCESSES April 2018 PDF

1) The document is an exam for an Advanced Manufacturing Processes course consisting of 10 multiple choice questions testing knowledge of various topics in manufacturing processes. 2) The first few questions ask students to differentiate between various metal forming and joining techniques like spinning, etching, friction stir welding and define parameters that control squeeze casting quality. 3) Later questions cover additive manufacturing techniques, sheet lamination processes, metrology tools like interferometers, atomic force microscopes and their working principles and applications in measuring micro-scale parts.
