Minutes of Placement Meeting

1. A placement meeting was held online on April 18, 2020 between the Dean of MBA, Dean of Placements, and 74 MBA students to discuss opportunities for students during the lockdown. 2. Students were encouraged to take online certification courses, participate in webinars, and work on polishing their soft skills and technical skills. 3. The Dean of Placements informed students that recruiters were still actively hiring and students should keep their resumes updated and be prepared to discuss what they have been doing during the lockdown.

Meeting start with welcome by Dean MBA Dr. Shalaka Parker. She shared the purpose and
importance of meeting and welcomed Dean Placements Mrs. Jasmita Kaur.

Total 74 students of MBA I & II Year joined meeting

 Key points discussed during meeting:


1. Students should take various certification courses during lock down.
2. Students should participate and also play active role in various webinars.
3. Students should polish soft skills and more technical improvisation as time to online
learn.
4. Dean Placements informed students to be ready for question, “what you have done during
Lock Down?’
5. Dean Placements emphasis students to keep resumes updated as till now no depression in
job market noticed.
6. Dean Placements share that we are continuous touch with recruiters and share that many
recruiters happy to share knowledge during lockdown as webinar. Only condition is
student should share area of interest and she will help by giving links to industries.
7. Dean Placements announced placement ready-ness Test (Firstnaukari test) for MBA I
year on 27th April 2020.
8. Dean Placements informed students to express area to explore from industry experts so
that more sessions can be scheduled as webinars or zoom sessions.
9. Dean Placements informed students that they should reply placement inputs and
opportunities quickly.
10. Students are asked to participate and be active during following webinars and also
Students are advised to keep update and participate in different webinars share time to
time.

11. Prof. Thorat emphasis on certification programs and advises students to select and join
online courses at least during lock down.
12. Prof. Thorat latter informed students that he will share list of online resources that
students can use.
13. Students are advised by Dean Placements to take projects on industry needs during lock
down which will be great appreciation by industry.
14. Dean MBA Dr. Shalaka Parker address students about exam and exam form filling by
students and assured that all care about online and format of exam would be taken.
15. Students expressed thanks for informations and conduct of meeting.
16. Meeting ended conclusion to continue learning during lock down via Moodle, google
form and online certifications.
17. Students express thank you and request more sessions in future also as feedback of
meeting via what’s app.
