• Switch on the system and wait until it is ready for use.
• Move the vertical lifting column of the basic unit almost to the lowest position.
• Move the C-arm in the vertical position (I.I. on top, SIREPHOS/POWERPHOS on the
bottom)
• Switch off the system at the monitor trolley Off key.
• Disconnect the monitor trolley cable (X10) from the basic unit.

Informing the persons assisting about the work flow and risks 0
• Inform the persons assisting with the work about the work flow and instruct them how to
tilt the basic unit over. See the section on “Tilting direction of the basic unit” and the fol-
lowing sections.
• Inform the persons assisting about the warning message specified in the “Mechanical
safety information” section.
• Position the basic unit in the room with the following minimum distances to the walls or
other equipment:
¹ In front of the basic unit (C-arm side): min. 1 meter (~3.5 ft.)
¹ At the rear (electronic box side): min. 1 meter (~3.5 ft.)
¹ At the left side (to the left side of the basic unit): min. 1 meter (~3.5 ft.)
¹ At the right side (to the side that the basic unit will be tilted over on): min. 2 meter
(~7 ft.)
On the right side (the side the basic unit will be tilted on), cover the floor with 2 to 3 blan-
kets or corrugated board. See (1/Fig. 4 / p. 11).
• At the front wheel, place a small wooden board or wooden wedge to block the rotation
of the wheel. See (2/Fig. 4 / p. 11).
• Position 2 persons on the left side of the basic unit. See (Fig. 5 / p. 12).
• Position 4 persons on the right side of the basic unit. See (Fig. 6 / p. 12).
WARNING Be careful and attentive when tilting over the basic unit!
¹ Do not tilt over the basic unit with fewer than 6 persons.
¹ Tilt the system over slowly to prevent injuries to your
hands or feet or damage to the basic unit or inventory!

• All persons must hold the basic unit to prevent it from tilting over too fast.
Fig. 11: Tilting over the basic unit 5 Fig. 12: Tilting over the basic unit 6
• The basic unit is now on its side and the parts installed on the bottom are accessible for
repair.
• Lifting up the basic unit can be performed in the reverse order from tilting it over.
• Position 2 persons on the left side of the basic unit. See (Fig. 12 / p. 15).
• Position 4 persons on the right side of the basic unit. See (Fig. 11 / p. 15).
