The differences between two types of computer are:
Desktop Laptop

It is cheaper. It is expensive.

3. What is a “processor”?

A processor is a small chip that resides in computers and other electronic devices.

Its basic job is to receive input and provide the appropriate output.

4. How are processor size and speed measured?


It is typically measured in megahertz or gigahertz. This means a 1.8 GHz processor has
twice the clock speed of a 900 MHz processor.

5. What is random Access Memory (RAM)?


RAM is a form of computer memory that can be read and change in any order,
typically used to store working data and machine code .

6. What is RAM function in a computer?


It store the file and data that are use while the computer is running.
Quick data access provides a great significance to the RAM.
7. How is RAM measured?
Answer RAM is measured in gigabytes.

8. Why is RAM called temporary memory?


Answer RAM is called temporary memory because the information stored in RAM is
lost if the power supply is turned off.
9. Harddrive are considered permanent storage where all application and files are
stored. There are two types of hard drive . list them and explain the difference
between two.

solid state drives. A hard disk drive pairs the platters with magnetic heads arranged
on a moving actuator arm , which reads and writes data to the platter resources.

Answer The size of your hard drive does not affect how fast your processor runs or
how quickly your computer is able to access the internet. However, the hard drive size
plays a role in overall computer performance.

Answer A peripheral device is defined as a computer device , such as keyboard or
printer , that is not part of the essential computer i. e (the memory and
microprocessor ).

Answer Mac OS – Mac OS is the computer operating system for Apple computer

Answer Let the dell be considered because it has high processing unit.

Answer computer is measure diagonally from top corner to an opposite bottom corner
and usually stated in inches. 24 inches is the best size of computer for me.

Answer Screen resolution is measure diagonally from top corner to an opposite
bottom corner and is usually stated in inches .

18. what is the meaning of integrated graphics?


Answer: integrated graphics refers to a GPU that is literally part of the motherboard ,
integrated at the silicon level , where as discrete graphics , more powerful in nature ,
use a slot- in board to connect up to a motherboard , usually via a conduit that is
called PCL- express.

19. what is meant by dedicated graphics?


Answer: dedicated graphics refers to a separate graphics card attached to your system
motherboard .

20. integrated graphics or dedicated graphics for gaming?why?


Answer: An integrated graphics card also generates much less heat than dedicated
video card and uses drastically less power , which improves the overall battery life .
This includes watching or editing videos, 2D gaming and word processing .

21. what is the most important thing to consider when buying a computer?
Answer: The most important thing when buying a computer are :
Processor , RAM , Hard drive , Graphics , Computer Software , Anti-virus software ,
etc…

22.Why should you wait for wait for price reduction(sale)?


Answer: We should wait for price reduction because we can get in low price.

COMPARING THE THREE SYSTEM AND EXPLAINING WHY I SELECTED ONE OF THE
SYSTEM OVER OTHER.
Now, comparing these computers there Dell, Hp and Asus. Dell is the laptop where we
can find online shopping also. Dell has RAM 4 GB, HDD is 1TB. CPU is fast
processing than other ones. It is found in 78,000 for business purposes. It is
mostly use in business organization.

Again HP is also used in different fields where business organization are run. HP has
RAM 4 GB, HDD 500 TB. HP has monitor screen size 15.6inch. The cost of HP is
95,000 and shipping cost is 200 and total cost is 95,200.

ASUS is also used in different field of organization. ASUS has 4 GB RAM and HDD 1 TB.
ASUS has monitor screen size 15.6 inch full HD.

Among these alternatives we have chosen DELL as the best laptop used in business
organization. DELL has 4 GB RAM, HDD 1 TB. CPU is fast processing than HP
and ASUS.
