Zech 4:7, Obadiah 1:17 WORD CHARGE: Isaiah 43:2 (READ) – The beauty of life emerges when you go through challenges without giving up. Those who easily give up, don’t go up. Life is a race and only those who are willing to pay the price get the ultimate prize. Challenges are stepping stones to greater heights. In life, people who give up easily are those who cannot see their future. They give up easily because there is no picture from scriptures of their future before them – Hebrews 12:2. FACTORS THAT WILL HELP YOU TO KEEP PRESSING 1. Have a Dream (Jeremiah 1:10-12, Genesis 13:15): Dream is a mental picture of your future expectations. Without dream, you place a limit to what God can do for you. God will never be committed to perform what you have not seen. Have a scriptural picture of the future you want to feature. At some time, God will birth within you an invisible picture of your future. It is the picture that will provide focus, progression and enthusiasm. 2. Live by Faith (Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17): Faith is your active divine connector to everything God wants you to experience. Faith is standing on the integrity of God’s word to commit Him to perform what He has spoken. Dreams require faith to become a reality. No vision can be accomplished without faith. The beauty of every vision is a function of the quality of faith you have. 3. Associate with the Right Persons (Proverbs 27:17, 13:20): Connectivity beats proximity; you might not be close to your mentors physically but you can still learn from them through their materials (books, tapes etc.). Association can also be through observation. The persons you associate with determines how far you go in life. If you want to be great, don’t listen, talk, walk or sit around people who will weaken your faith. Every association either builds you up or weakens you; no association leaves you neutral. [Altar Call] INTERACTIVE SESSION: [Members should be given the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas about the theme] QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION: 1. What makes people to easily give up? ANSWER: See Manual 2. Briefly describe the factors that will help you to keep pressing (3 Persons each).
