License manager Utility


Installing license for CitiXsys Products (Server or
Standalone Machine)

• Install CitiXsys license Manager from the exe file that can be downloaded from the
CitiXsys FTP Site. In case CitiXsys License manager is already installed on the system,
please follow the next step.
• Go to Start ‐> All Programs ‐> Select CitiXsys License Manager
• Specify the location of the folder where the license file (CitiXsys.lic) is stored by
browsing it through ‘Browse’ button.
• The ‘Browse for folder’ window will open up on clicking the ‘Browse’ button. Specify the
path of the folder that contains the license file.
• After selecting the folder, the following screen would display the path Information. Click
on the ‘Activate license’ button.
• Click on the ‘Start Service’ button to start the CitiXsys License Manager Service. “CitiXsys
License Manager Service is started” message will appear as the status in the “Service
manager” box.

Installing license for CitiXsys Products (Client Machine)

Note:
• If the license is installed on the server, then the client machine should automatically pick
the license from the Server.
• If the client machine does not pick the license from the server, then we need to specify
the path of the server (Either Machine Name or IP address of the Server) when
prompted for the path of license.
Machine Name is Full Computer Name in System Properties

When the system prompts for the license on the client Machine, Please select “Specify the
license Server system” and then click “Next”
Enter the Machine Name (Full Computer Name) or the IP address of the Server Machine and
then Click Next
The client system will search for the license on the Server Machine which is connected with the
clients Machine and then click on Finish.
