The aim of this proposal is to suggest which periods or events from our country’s history would

interest and excite our teenage audience and how we should present them.

In order to express how exciting our history is, I need to believe we need to make our display
dramatic and colorful. For that reason, I suggest that one of the periods we focus on should be the
Bulgarian country in 18th to 19th century, when one person started the awakening of the whole
nation, to the day that we finally became a free country, and no longer under the influence of the
Ottoman Empire. We can start by telling the teens about how the whole process of awakening
started, who and what caused it and how it helped making us free people. A suitable way to enhance
such a story is to read few paragraphs of the book that started the whole movement. I think that It
will really make the teenagers dive in the history.

Also a great idea can be to inform our guests about how our country was formed. The great story of
how khan Asparuh camo to Dunav river and combined two nations into one, Slavs and Bulgarians,
and created Bulgaria. We can show them how people used to dress back then and what weapons
they used to fight. I know a guy that can arrange all types of uniforms that people wore back then.

I think that this would be an exciting opportunity to paint a vivid picture of some of the fascinating
events that help form the country that we live in now. I hope you will find that the suggestions made
in my proposal provide and effective wat to accomplish the aim of making history come alive for our
visitors.
