NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants, and conditions contained herein, the sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowledged, the parties so named above agree as follows:
TERMS
1. First and foremost, this agreement supersedes the Storium community license in the following ways:
2. The intended purpose of this agreement is to protect the intellectual property of writers who may wish to later publish
their original content elsewhere, and is meant to protect each writer's material from the community licenses “joint
ownership” clause.
3. The game in question utilizes the Storium Community License and all terms in that license agreement that are not
superseded by this agreement are to be deemed binding as per the original agreement to which all users of the site must
agree.
4. Suggestions, ideas (e.g. writing prompt cards, settings and other materials created by readers and/or the narrator and given
to writers in the game) are, for the purposes of this agreement, not considered material contributions and therefore do not
provide joint ownership of the stories to the participants who created them.
5. Acceptance of this agreement will be determined by card selection in a challenge in the game itself, on Storium.
6. If you choose to accept the agreement, you will play an “Accept” card and all terms of this agreement will become binding.
7. If you choose to reject the agreement, you will play a “Reject” card and you will have to remove yourself from participation
in the Storium.
8. By not participating and agreeing or rejecting this agreement, you are indicating intent to not comply and not participate,
and will either remove yourself from the game, or be removed by the narrator.
9. A PDF copy of the signed agreement will be sent to all players who participate and agree to the terms contained herein.
10. By agreeing to this, you also consent to the possibility of this agreement being posted online and a link shared to the
document for your ongoing reference.
