Job Title: Service Contract: Information Management Officer-Social Protection for
Tea Workers, UNFPA Country Office, Dhaka,SB 3 level
Develop and implement M&E plan including a design of MIS of the Social
Protection for Tea Workers project to generate regular information related
to progress of the project;
Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of
data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable;
Organise and manage data input from data collection forms and conduct
initial analysis of the data;
Liaise with Implementing Partners (IPs) to collect, analyze and report data on
results and inputs;
Provide technical support to staff members for all MIS/ M&E related activities,
promoting a results-based approach to monitoring and evaluation,
emphasizing results and impacts;
Train project staff members on MIS/ M&E concepts, skills and tools. Work
closely with IP staff for enhancing their capacity for proper data collection
and reporting;
Coordinate the preparation of all progress reports; guide staff and executing
partners in preparing their progress reports in accordance with approved
reporting formats and ensure their timely submission;

Quality Assurance:
Check, verify and compile data from the field as stipulated in the project
document/ M&E plan;
Ensure that quarterly / six monthly / yearly reports from partners are complete
and meet the quality requirements;
General responsibility:
Check that monitoring data are discussed in team meeting to guide future
actions;
Prepare monitoring field visit plan and undertake regular visits to the fields to
support implementation of MIS and monitoring and evaluation, check the
quality of data produced, and to identify where adaptations might be
needed;
