It is VERY important to carry out this step correctly, it is easy to do. Now enter the directory
called premises where you will see 15 folders with the available languages,
including Spanish and Mexican .
For this case we will use Spanish , inside you will find 2 folders, premises and reports . Copy
those 2 folders and paste them in the root directory of the program that is the same one
mentioned above, as there are already other folders with the same name that must be
combined. When you run uniCenta POS again it will be in Spanish and with the currency of your
country (Colombia in this case).

The uniCenta box appears in the menu as Sales and it is there, as its name indicates, the section
to sell the products. You can use the numeric keypad to add the product price and using
the + button to add it to the box, if you have a barcode reader the software automatically adds the
product with the code read .
In the section called Cash Movement you can record exits or inflows of money that are not
made through sales and specify the reason for the movement:
Inventory menu
Access the menu and then Inventory. There are several buttons to organize and correctly manage
business items, in this case we will only use the button called Products .
Adding a product to uniCenta
To add a new product click on the + icon and fill in the form in a similar way to the image, if you
want you can use categories or attributes to organize your products.
For the barcode to work the number must be the same as the number on the labels. In
the Inventory tab you can set more options for the product in question. In the Image tab you can
assign an image for the article but it is optional.
The Button and Properties tabs are for more advanced settings and should not be changed
unless you know what is being done, the first is to change the appearance of the product button
in the box using HTML code and the second to add more options to the product, for example the
discounted price.
Make sales
Returning to the subject of the box and already with created products it is possible to
sell. Just click on the buttons with the name of the product to sell and they will be added to the
box with the name and price established. To increase the amount of a product select
it and click on +:
To finalize the sale use and a window with the accepted payment methods will be
displayed.
Payment methods in uniCenta POS
If you select Cash, you will see images of British pound notes appear, this does not affect
the sale but it can be changed as we will see later. In Debit it is possible to assign the sale to a
client, in this way it is possible to guarantee a sale and keep the account well managed. In
the Clients menu you can see how this option works. To finish the sale click on Accept and if
the print button is active and the printer is well configured a sales receipt will be printed.
Close box
You can close the cash desk at the end of the day or at the time you see fit. The software will
show a report of the cash you have in the box and the exits, so you can check if everything is in
order. If you wish, you can print a receipt for the cash register and so you could, for example,
keep a physical record of your daily cash closings:
