Title   :   Coastal Clean Up

Objectives

a. raise the community awareness on the importance of health through coastal cleaning

b. encourage the community to be part with this to monitor their source of living

c. inform the community on how to further decrease the pollution on water reservoir areas

Date Conducted: September 22, 2018

Venue: Wetland, Tortugas Balanga City

NSTP students together with its collaborating partners and branches of the local government yearly held
an activity of coastal cleanup on the coastal areas all over Bataan showing the importance on how we
should take care of the bodies of water which is the primary source of living in the province.

September 22, 2018 the NSTP held a costal cleanup activity on Wetland Tortugas Balanga City together
with its students, NSTP coordinator Sir Joseph Pencil explains the importance of this activity not only for
the students but also for the community to raise awareness, be informed and be responsible on keeping
their environment clean and enrich it. Coastal Cleanup is an activity where volunteers and agencies of
the government or school-based organization come up to clean the coastal areas of a place because of
too much disposal of garbage being brought down from large bodies of water on the way to shores of
coasts.
As conclusion, Sir Pencil added that we, students will benefit this activities that we are doing right now
for later we will be the one who will do what is right to protect, and preserve our environment so that
we can pass it for the generations to come and hopefully will remain a environnet friendly world.

Title   :   Teamgineering 2.0

Objectives

Students of BPSU should be aware of what may happen in the future and making their livea and selves
more competitive and more vocal and creating a leader from within. In this years NSTP batch, the
Balangay Bayani held a seminar to further increase the awareness of the students on their skills and
talents.

Teamgineering 2.0 is an activity held by Balanga Bayani involving seminars,talks, and team building
activities that will surely create a leader form every students. The importance of this such activities
make the students or we should say generally, the youth to be aware and be part of the growing
community, be part, be involve and take part on the society and raise the spirit of volunteerism, being a
well-oriented and mannered student for the future.

As conclusion, the activity serves as eye opener for youth on the responsibilities they have to face and
their readiness in the future and activities that awaits for them.

Title   :   Campus Cleanup Drive

BPSU NSTP with the faculty staffs of BPSU-Main Campus took part together to held a Campus Cleanuo
Drive activity for tge preparation for the Campus Accreditation. Also, the importance of this activity is
shown to the students of NSTP to be responsible on their own campuses and keeping it clean and neat.
CWTS and LTS students were assigned for their designations all over the campus to clean their area. The
Campus Cleanup is not only held because of the accreditation but also to encourage students to be
aware of their environment, ve responsible on maintaining the cleanliness of the campus, informing the
students and faculty members on making the campus a place fit for study while enjoying its beautiful
facilities.

As conclusion, this campus cleanup drive raise awareness and the spirit of volunteerism of the students
and producing a lesson that everything that we were accountedd for, we should take part on making
and keeping it clean and maintaining its beautiful quality for the next batch that will use it.

Title   :   Pinas Forward

Stepping up and out of the comfort zone, voicing out the problems that we notice, taking part in the
activities of the society and empowering other youth, these are some goals held by the Pinas Forward
Forum at BPSU to CWTS students

Pinas Forward is an organization that desires to empower youth and involve them digitally for
information is power and knowing that a youth whose knwoledgeable and certain with facts can bring
and serve a great future not only on its community but for the country as well. The goal to hold taks and
seminars informing youth, encouraging them to stand and be mature enough to know the circumstances
that they are facing, that they are not young anymore and we should take part and be part of the
growing community for future progress and sustainability for future competitive spirit.

As conclusion, this shows the advocacy they want to show, that everyone should act. We should be
involve and be part, be included and not be isolated, be aware and inform and not to neglect that events
happening and what it may affect on the community raising a leader within the youth in today's
computer generation.

Title   :   CPR by NDRRMO

Objectives

a. create awareness on saving lives

b. inform the youth on CPR training

c. raise the spirit of volunteerism

Date Conducted: October 27, 2018

The NDRRMO or National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council Office with its members
together with BPSU took part to give a training to the cwts and lts students of BPSU on saving human life
using CPR.

CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is a way to save a human after being unconscious or having an
heart attack. NDRRMC also gave the student knowledge on the proper way to revive a victim, what
should be considered when reviving a victim and analyzing the factors that may further harm the victim.
Also they inform the students of other calamities that may occur and what should we do during those
times and as volunteers, how will we act upon the disaster and how will we help our community to be
aware of this facts.

As conclusion, the training and seminar have been a great success and atleast we are prepared when
someone needs help but clearly the NDRRMC said that they hope that we don't have to use it for
because if we use it there is someone dying and they don't want that kind of catastrophe to happen.

Title   :   Earthquake Drill

a. to inform on what is earthquake

c. be aware of what to do before, during and after earthquakes

Earthquake is a natural c

disaster that could kill human lives and destroy infrastructure and buildings in an instance, it could
destroy environment and left with a traumatic experience for everyone whose not aware on how to
become safe during this catastrophic event.

BPSU took part on this to give awareness to its student and faculty members on how to be prepared and
deal in times of this disaster. They are taugh on how earthquake happens and what are the right and
proper thing to do. They also taught the students on how to react during earthquake what should we
consider to prevent further harm to people.

As conclusion, this seminar clearly make up the point and serves as the very importance to deal with
such disasters like this.

Title   :   Lakbayani

Date Conducted: December 15, 2018

Lakbayani is an event for all youth volunteers and students on a one day full of activities, talks and
concert for all the volunteers. It serves as a very fun day at the same time very informative because we
learned a lot of things about volunteerism and of course some words of encouragement from the SK
Federated President to us students and other campuses of BPSU and other schools also took part in it. It
mainly focuses on the very essence of what the youth could be with the helo of other youth and the
very essence of volunteerism, how we should act as one with th community and contrubuting skills and
talents for the progress of the society. We also shares fun skills and amazing knowledge that honed our
characters as individual and as youth of the society. This event is really all for fun but also a lot of
information that we learned and we discover and we are very thankful for the oppurtunity to learn with
the help of Balangay Bayani.

Title   :   Gift Giving

This Gift giving held by nstp students aims to spread the spirit of christmas to everyone. Knowing that
christmas is near once again, we should as youth, lead the way to spread love and happiness to all.

Above all this, we are very thankful to give love and fun for the community we served, we had a lot of
fun and because the people were smiling, its like a mission fulfilled to give love and spread love for them
knowing that we are aware that there are isolated communities and that we should notice them and
wanted them to feel that they are belong to the society and never neglect their skills and what they
could do.

As conclusion, having this activity makes the community that we served feel that they really belong and
feeling the spirit of christmas.

Title   :   Bloodletting Project

Objective

a. to raise the spirit of volunteerism

b. to give awareness for students on bloodlettung project

c. to helo save a life using blood donation

Date Conducted: February 9, 2019

Blooedletting project was held at BPSU with the partnership of BGH and Red Cross Bataan Chapter. This
acitivity is held for those who wanted to donate blood and be part of the growing community helping
and serving as blood donors.

Donating blood is not that easy, we should be healthy and in proper care of our health to donate
because any abnormalities can affect the blood that we donate and the one who will benefit may suffer
from that blood so we should be careful. This annual project of BPSU has been very exceptional and we
know that these collaborating agencies were very thnakful for the support that they get from the school
and of course other schools all over the province.

As conclusion, this bloodletting projects simply taught us that we can be volunteers at any aspect of life
and be part of the community taking care of life and saving numerous life by donating blood for others.

Title   :   Intensive Training

The intensive training held by BPSU NSTP and in partnership with various organizations supports that
the students should be prepared and well informed on surviving and reacting during calamities and
disaster involving human lives and catastrophic events that may occur.

The training is a whole day activity which includes various talks and seminars like high ange rappeling,
the proper usage of bandages, proper lifting of victims. This various trainings is exceptional and essential
for life supporting and rescuing victims in time of calamities and disaster. We are well-informed by the
school about these and as students, we shoukd react and make ourselves volunteer to helo those in
need and do whatever we can to help victims and survive such events that inevitably occur. These
certain facts that we cannot stop but at least we are prepared on what may happen and we can prevent
further damage especially human death and by that we could be a very vital volunteers in the years to
come.

As conclusion, these activities helped a lot of students to be very vital as youth whose awared and
prepared for what may come and react quickly when it matters to take part as a youth.

Date Conducted: March 16, 2019

The BFP held a seminar related to Fire Prevention Month with the help of BPSU NSTP. This seminar talks
about all we have to know about fire and what we have to do to prevent it.

Fire is made with the help of oxygen, heat and fuel. The BFP was made because of this case and they
help the country to prevent fire and fight fire in case of tragic events. The BFP is an organization that has
mandates and has its by laws that they follow. There are former incidents of fire in the past that caused
a lot of human lives and to prevent more of that in the future, they conduct seminars to inform
communities to preventing fire to spread or creating fire. Also, they taught us how to proper use of Fire
Extinguisher, its properties and classifications and how to use ut properly in case of fure related
emergencies.

We are well informed about these through the help of BFP and wr are very thankful to be part of this
seminar that gave us knowledge to what we should knoe all about fire and what may happen.

Title   :   RCY Leadership Training

Date Conducted: March 29 & 30 2019

The Red Cross Leadership Training was a big success and very well done for the Red Cross Laguna
chapter bringing the most out of students gaining a lot of knowledge that students can use for future
purposes.

Students had a lot of fun and realizations in life during these 2 day activity learning different things
especially being a volunteer, what we were about to experience, what sacrifice we should make and
what responsibilities are we facing. Another thing is that thay taught us how to be a good leader, how
should we decide for the better and for the future of everyone. Being a Leader is a very tough and hard
thing to accomplish, we should be a great follower before we become a great leader and we should
always consider listening to our members and involve yourself to them. A lot of activities were also took
place and every activities, we learned morals in life that we could use beyond being a volunteer but
merely as individuals and as part of the community.

As conclusion, RCY Laguna have been very great in terms of their sacrifices to teach us and to inform us
about their organization and what we should aim to be as future leaders and individuals of the society
and we are very thankful for the time and knowledge that we share from each other.
