Exercise 1 On RK Method

This document provides instructions for a numerical methods exercise to solve a differential equation using the Fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Students are asked to use the method to find the value of y when x is 1.5, given the differential equation dy/dx is 100y with an initial value of y as 0.5 when x is 20, using a step size of 0.5. The final answer is provided as y = 49.5267 when x = 1.5. Students are instructed to show their working and submit their work as PDF files through their MEC500 Google Classroom.
