Fraudsters are using a mobile app called "AnyDesk" to gain remote access to victims' devices and carry out fraudulent transactions. The app generates a 9-digit code that the fraudster tricks the victim into sharing, allowing the fraudster to access and control the device. Once in control, the fraudster is able tophish the victim's mobile banking credentials and use the already installed app to conduct fraudulent transactions. Customers are advised to never download or share access to unknown apps, and to never share their login or banking details with anyone over calls, emails or SMS messages.
