Course Completion Times (Hours) : Current Training Proposed Training Current Training

1.) The document contains data on course completion times under current and proposed training methods. Statistical analyses were conducted to compare the mean completion times and variances between the two methods. 2.) Hypothesis testing using a z-test showed no significant difference between the population means of current and proposed training. However, an F-test found a significant difference between the population variances. 3.) Based on the statistical analyses, the proposed training method has a more consistent completion time compared to the current method, as evidenced by the significantly different population variances between the two. Therefore, the proposed training method is preferred.

z statistic is equal to -0.607687. P value is 0.54339 which is greater than 0.05 (value of
level of significance). Thus, null hypothesis cannot be rejected. There is no difference
between population means.

Hypotheses are formulated to test the euality of population variances.

Ho: Population variances are equal.

H1: Population variances are not equal.
