WORK EXPERIENCE

May 1st to date Bliss Consumer Products

I have recently been working on a part – time basis, with a team of


employees from Bliss Consumer Products, a Company from South Africa,
in helping them perform an Outlet Mapping in urban Dar – Es – Salaam
Region. This includes tasks such as:

 Location of outlets within the region.


 Which, Where and how many outlets I that should be focused on?
 Identification of similar products sold within those outlets.

Sept 2012 to Mar 2013 Technician – Computer Center Dar-Es-Salaam


As a trainee technician of Computer Centre, I was part of a team that was
responsible for:

 Repair computers with damage or dysfunctions.


 Install or download computer applications.
 Assemble computer parts.
 Check the capacity of the computer.
 Ensure the functions of the computer.
 Advise proper care of computer and the best computer programs
and brand.

Jan. 2011 to Dec 2012 Sales Assistant – Dormut Enterprises.

As a sales employee of Dormut Enterprises Ltd (in conjunction with


D.Light, an alternative energy company), I was assigned to the North and
Lake Regions where primarily we were to;

 I managed a team of three sales men together with the vehicle


driver.
 Implemented a marketing and sales strategy to the surrounding
local communities that resulted in increased customer base. That
meant setting up a distribution network by appointing agents in
different villages and trading centers. This entailed visiting open
markets to promote the products for sale (brand talk and trials);
visiting schools, hospitals, offices, cooperative unions and various
institutions where it was felt, they would contribute to a future
consumer base.
 Identification of new markets.
 Handling finances and stocks. This meant, stock taking in the
morning and at the end of the working day. Cash and stock
reconciliation. And finally daily banking to the main account. This
resulted in fresh order placement to maintain smooth sales
operations.

Jan.2005–Jun.2005 Sales Assistant - ALPHA GROUP.

As a sales employee of ALPHA GROUP Ltd (with Unilever Tanzania


Limited), I worked with a team of two whereby;

 We were successful in retail distribution and opening up new


outlets in Arusha City.
 Distribution and sales to the existing market.

As a call center agent for Tigo Telecommunication duties involve:-

 Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a


timely manner
 Follow communication “scripts” when handling different
topics
 Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every
issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
 Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
 Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by
taking the extra mile
 Keep records of all conversations in our call center database
in a comprehensible way
 Frequently attend educational seminars to improve
knowledge and performance level
 Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Professional

Having work experience, in between schooling, of about 5 years, in which


time sometimes I was employed and other times I was not because of
schooling reasons I have managed to gain fair skills including:

 Solving skills including identification of opportunities and means


to bring them to fruition.
 Ability to talk and relate to a customer resulting in increased
customer satisfaction.
 Keeping track of market trends and identifying new product and
market opportunities.
 Coming up with new ways to increase already existing markets,
including adoption of new approaches if necessary.
