2.2 Drive system

The drive system is specially designed for the Winglock and built in the centre column.
The electrical motor has the following features:
¾ Silent operation;
¾ the door can easily be held by hand;
¾ low operating voltage .

2.3 Control system

2.3.1 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
The PLC is installed in the centre column of the Winglock. The PLC controls the signals
from, for example, the cardreader and checks the working of the door. Two lines of
numbered LEDs show each part of the operation. The program si stored in an EEPROM-
memory and therefor das not need a battery back-up. An additional EEPROM* is available
as an option.

3. Operating Features

3.1 Basic Operation ..................................................................................................................................

3.2 Services on the control panel (option).........................................................................................

3.1 Basic Operation

After a "pulse in" the doorset will open anticlockwise and stops and locks in the 90°
position. After the "open time" of two seconds the door reverses and stops and locks in
restposition. The same happens for a "pulse out" but only in the opposite direction
(clockwise). In case a second pulse (same as the first) is given during closing of the door,
it reopens again immeadiately. In case the second pulse is the one for the opposite
direction, it will only be accepted during closing of the door. If so then the intelligence of
the system will decide whether to re-open again or to keep on turning in the same
direction until the door is open at the other side. It is not allowed to force the doorwing in
the opposite rotation direction. The doorwing will stop and lock for three seconds before
it continues its rotation again. It is possible to check the speed of the door. If someone
pushes the door to a higher speed, the system will control the drive unit and decrease the
speed by breaking for a short moment.

3.2 Services on the control panel (option) (see fig. 3)

Pulse in (1)
¾ Free passage in (once)
Pulse out (2)
¾ Free passage out (once)
Locking (3)
¾ The Winglock will be locked immediately after activating the lock button.
Alarm (4/5)
¾ Gives an optical and acoustics signal in case of an alarmsituation, as described in
the working principle.

Control panel external (option)
