Business model canvas is a management tool that helps to strategically define and structure a
business idea (Ebinum, 2016). Remedy is an online based medical pharmacy which helps people
to browse through our catalogue, order it online through our app and get it to your doorstep
without any hassle. In order to smoothly run our e-business and keep our thoughts and ideas
focused we are analyzing our business through the 9 building blocks of business model canvas.
1. Value proposition:
A value preposition helps a business to find its true customer segments and create a
strong first impression too (Sukhraj, 2018). As the occurrence of non-communicable
diseases across the country is increasing so are the patience who require dozens of files
medicines (Dhakal, 2019). Which is why there is a huge hassle of going to the medical
store in a busy schedule and not being able to find the particular medicine so one has to
go around town searching the very medicine. To eliminate this pain in the market
Remedy has came up with gain creators and pain reliever for its customers. Remedy’s
value preposition is that it is a convenient way for people to buy medications and they do
not have to go through the hassle while being in a busy schedule.
Adding on, Remedy provides a schedule/ timetable for the customers to follow via
reminder. through our app. There is convenient way to book appointments with doctors
and professionals and have an easier way to contact them. People can order the medicines
by just downloading our app and connecting it with their email address and order it
online. The customers will get their medications timely delivered to their doorsteps.
Remedy provides its customers membership discounts and offers which also adds up as
our value preposition.
2. Customer segments:
Relating to the value preposition, the customer segments of our Remedy are the people
who have elderly members in their family who are above the age of 60 and who are
suffering from chronic diseases. People who are working families and who don't have
enough time for searching medicines and booking appointments. Our app is designed for
tech-friendly people who already have an experience in buying products online. For now,
we are only taking orders from inside Kathmandu valley.
3. Channels:
It is easier to order the medicine from our app. First, select your specific product and add
them to cart then your order will be delivered in your doorstep in 2-3 days. we aim to
reach out to our customers we decided to do several ways
Marketing through sponsoring events
Marketing through partners hospitals
Social media promotion
4. Customer relationship:
The main objective of our company is to focus on maintaining the relationship with
customers and increasing more number of customers by satisfying our customers and
building trust for customers.
5. Revenue streams:
Our revenue comes from the commission from pharmacies, doctors. We have decided to
take 10% commission from pharmacies of each product and 15% from the doctors for
getting appointments through our app. We also have a space for advertisement in our
website and application for clinics, hospitals and for a products which are new in market
to place advertisement on it.

The key partners to our company are pharmacies and doctors as we are running because
of them. Hospitals and clinics are also our partner as we could make a deal with many
doctors from it. We also partner with an expert team for developing our application and
maintaining it and making it easier for customers.
