Masterclasses teach us not only about music


I went to some masterclasses where they really inspired me. Some of them did not
only inspired me musically, but also inspired me to work with other musicians and create new
ideas in handling different situations in life and conflicts. Some great artist gives us more
than just music in masterclass, but also wise words to use in daily life.

Good musician must be nice as a person and not only perform well
To be a good musician, one must be kind and giving. I can see some musician lose
their opportunity just because they are not respectful and do not treat other people nicely.
When working, we tend to work with people who we are most comfortable with. At least for
me, I choose to work with people who are nice and are somewhat responsible on their part. I
do not prefer working with people who are super talented but behave badly.

Working too much throws us off track


This happened to me last year. I was not prepared for most of my private lessons
compared to previous semesters. This is because I was working a lot. Sure, I earned loads of
money at that time, but I was so tired and had no holidays whatsoever. I was not happy with
the quality of my work at that time too. From that semester, I learned how to manage time
and handle pressure from different sources.
