STUDENT SATISFACTION
Student satisfaction with teaching and learning is important in many higher education institutions.
The problem is how to come up with innovative strategies to improve satisfaction and one
important thing is how to measure student satisfaction. Therefore, the most common way is to
get feedback from students to evaluate the services they are receiving by the university. Due to
the rapid technological and economic change, higher education institutions should adjust their
courses, processes and structures to suit the needs of their students. The model of studying
student satisfaction about the quality of educational services at the University of Greenwich was
built on the theoretical framework of Parasuraman (1988).
FACTORS AFFECTING STUDENT
SATISFACTION
Research conducted by different researchers has suggested different factors that affect student satisfaction.
Infrastructure is one of the important factors for students to assess their satisfaction. Students choose a
university partly based on the infrastructure that meets their needs. Teaching quality seems to be very
important in determining student satisfaction.

Attention to students is essential and important for student satisfaction. The University is rated with
satisfaction based on the interest in its students when any problems occur and always listen and respond to
the needs of students. Besides the quality of teaching, social experience for students is also essential.
Students receive satisfaction when the school provides them with enjoyable experiences.
THE WAY OF COLLECTING DATABASE
This study explores the relationship between student satisfaction with teaching methods, facilities, interest
and practical experience. A set of 20 questions based on Parasuraman's research method was collected
from 100 students at the University of Greenwich from different disciplines and levels. The online survey is
70% and the paper survey is 30%.
In Part I, the group will ask related questions about issues that will affect student satisfaction with the
school. After a method of adjusting variables, data is collected and proposed in an Excel file; The data is
transferred to SPSS for the descriptive statistical analysis framework. Part II covers demographic attributes
such as gender, major year and student year. Part III, the group will make statistical inference. In this section,
the team will analyze the table one sample test, independent sample test and paired sample test. Finally,
sufficient evidence and theory will be presented through the information provided.
