SUZA DMS REQUIREMENTS

Primary Requirements Explanation


1 Number of Users 568 users located in seven different campuses
2 Number of Registry(Masjala) among users 3 Registries. The one at Tunguu at headquarter is
the main registry. The other two registries at
Chwaka and Maruhubi campus are minor
registries.
3 Who initiate the movement of the file Staff at the Registry
4 Who close the movement of the file Staff at the Registry
5 How the file move from starting point to the Staff send the letter/memo/ to the Registry. The
end. Registry staff note the title of the file in the
Registry book. The staff open the file and send it to
the Action Officers (VC,DVCs,Deans,Director,HODs)
for further actions. The file with the comments
from the Action Officers is send to whoever is
responsible for taking further actions with the
respect to the subject of the file.
Secondary Requirement Explanation
1 Ubuntu Server HP Proliant DL 380 Gen 9 server with 32GB RAM,
2 RAM 8GB 48 Cores and 2TB SAS Disks. The Server is
3 Storage 500 GB virtualized with KVM into 4 virtual machines. Each
VM is having 500GB, 8GB RAM and 8Cores CPU
with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installed in each.
