INTERLOOP
Interloop one of the world's largest hosiery manufacturers with Hosiery being its
core business has an annual Company turnover exceeding $270 million. Besides
Hosiery Interloop is a reputed manufacturer of quality yarn. It is a complete
vertically integrated organization with in-house spinning, yarn dyeing, knitting and
finishing facilities. Interloop houses over 4,000 knitting machines, 46,704 ring
spinning spindles and has more than 15,000 employees. The Company offers a
wide range of socks with various quality levels and price points in line with all
types of customers including brands, retailers, specialty stores etc. besides quality
yarns for Denim, Hosiery & weaving industry.
Interloop believe in excellence, customer focus and competitiveness in all areas of
business and are serving Interloop clients successfully from various locations and
regions of the globe. Interloop manufacturing facilities are in Pakistan (Faisalabad
and Lahore), Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. With a Global focus on customer

network in Pakistan, Bangladesh, North America and Europe.

Knitting per Month: 3.3 Million dozens
Finishing per Month: 3.5 Million dozens
Spinning per Month: 2,400 tons
Yarn Dyeing per Month:       285 tons

stakeholder’s engagement & objectives evaluation.

2:Product Variety And Operations


The ability to purchase other products from a retail store may enhance the sales
and/or margins of all products offered by attracting customers who appreciate the
variety of products. And this is what IDEAS is doing. They are hedging upon an
exclusive market segment in Pakistan that is more brands conscious and is willing
to pay more for better quality, exclusive designs and product range. The company
distinctively identifies its product line into various categories. These are as

3: Process
Interloop processes are designed to deliver best value to Interloop customers.
Production planning integrates the whole supply chain through Monthly sales &
Operational planning process. Merchandizing, Marketing and planning teams
closely review demand forecast for current quarter and for the whole year, develop
rough-cut capacity plan and create a balance between demand and supply. Long-
term demand forecast is critical for material planning, Manpower planning and
also provides basis for future Business planning.

Its Vertical Product Development Facility is one of its kinds in the world. All
equipments from knitting to Boarding are laid out in Flow. Going forward it will
have the capacity to produce 1652 samples in a week. Product development facility
is equipped with dedicated Testing lab to meet chemical and physical testing
requirement. Interloop textile engineers, chemists and knitting technologists work
day and night to bring product concepts in to reality.
At Interloop we have vertically integrated Value streams in Hosiery operations.
This vertical integration goes beyond Hosiery operations and includes
INTERLOOP SPINNING, Interloop Yarn dyeing and Interloop Filament dyeing.
Interloop Hosiery value streams are connected with Planning teams through Master
schedules. Production Plan is provided to Knitting process and then material flows
from Knitting to shipping based on FIFO Lane Principle.

At Interloop consistent and uniform product Quality always gets the highest
priority. Industry believe investing in product quality ultimately improves
productivity. In production areas industry have ISO 17025 accredited quality labs.
These labs perform tests on each batch of Hosiery products as well as on incoming
Raw material procured. SPC software (statistical process control) is being
introduced for faster analysis and countermeasures.
In addition to the tests performed in labs, highly trained QA Staff performs QA
analysis based on AQL. Every purchase order has to be approved by Interloop
highly talented teams before shipping to customer. Planning, product development,
vertical production operations and Quality management systems enhance the
confidence of Interloop customers in TEAM INTERLOOP.

systematic approach is in place to enable sustained Company performance through
the involvement of industry people.

1: History of Klash
Klash Clothing is a vertical manufacturer and was founded in 1990. Klash has
steadily grown over the years now owning vertically integrated divisions Klash
Clothing, Klash (PVT) Ltd, Klash Dyehouse and Klash Textile (PVT) Ltd, having
a vast knowledge and expertise in the design and manufacturing of high quality
value added garments. Under the umbrella of the Klash Group we have become
one of the largest garment manufacturers in the country. Our dual strategy of
exporting value added products made from local raw materials and manufacturing
for foreign brands means valuable foreign exchange earnings for the country.

and services. We are an ISO certified textile company and our commitment is
summarised in our Quality Policy below.

This is an important part of our manufacturing process coupled with continuous
testing at critical points by our Quality Assurance laboratories who have a
comprehensive range of analytical equipment.

The main role of our productions team to enhance productivity with operations
layouts, technical and professionally educated and skilled man power, latest
techniques and machinery to achieve the targets with quality.

5: OPERATIONS AND PROCESSING:
Klaash has different departments to do a process to make fabric and clothes.
Dyeing department
Finishng department
Washing department
Cutting department
Stitching department
Printing department
The Fabric Processing Division of Klash Dye House has a capacity of dyeing
25000kgs per day..
In order to maintain the quality of processed fabric, Klash Dye House has a
Quality Control laboratory with the latest equipment to check the fabric. It ensures
that the fabric quality is maintained throughout and is according to the required
parameters of our customers.
The Cutting department is equipped with the latest CAD / CAM system for pattern
designing and grading. Its auto lay marking and plotting is state of the art
technology which helps us to reduce fabric wastages and enhance the fabric
usability.
In the Printing department we are capable of producing some amazing designs on
many different kinds of fabric and have an extensive Screen Printing, flocking and
heat transferring facility.
6: QUALITY FACTOR:
Klash has a documented Quality Manual that states the quality management
system, for each customer. Management establishes a documented quality plan
setting out the specific quality practices, resources required and sequence of
activities which are relevant to each particular product.

The in-house lab is fully equipped from Lab Dipping with a spectral data facility,
Wash Testing, Colour fastness, Dimensional Stability, Spirality, Fabric Weight, pH

value, Bursting Strength, Garment Durability, Crocking, Bleeding and many other
tests which are standard for fabric.
8: ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Klash is ensuring following responsibilities in the area of environmental control.

 Having an efficient system for the disposal of waste

Klash textile.
There are certain departments of processing in which employees have been
working since long but there efficiency is not improved and unsatisfactory
results come out sometimes.
Interloop and Klash Textiles and other Textile industrialists believe that they
have been expected to compete in free global trade without any support which
would be impossible had the similar conditions prevailed in the regional
competing countries as well.
